W San Francisco

Very nice hotel with excellent service. From the moment you walk in, you are warmly greeted and well taken care of. They even provide complimentary tickets to the modern museum, which was a great experience. At night, there was a DJ, creating a fun and lively atmosphere. They surprised me with a room upgrade for my birthday, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The rooms are very clean, and the location is perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in SoMa that’s close enough to Union Square, public transit, and other points of interest without being too close to the hecticness of the surrounding area. ||Rooms are clean and very spacious with enough room to spread out and many surfaces to place luggage on. The bed is one of the comfiest hotel beds that we’ve slept on. If you’re lucky, you’ll also have a great view of the city and the Bay Bridge. ||Special shoutout to Josh at the front desk for taking care of us and making us feel welcome the entire stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. ||Overall we’re so glad to have found the perfect place to stay any time we’re in the city. Looking forward to the next time we’re back!

I was there for business, and what you’d expect. Standard W hotel. - high quality, high level of service, amazing bed. One thing I appreciate is the coffee pods in the room, the bedroom is spacious so it’s the bathroom. Two things I wished it had. 1 higher pressure rain shower, and a bigger gym. Not that they are bad, but that would make a difference.

Josh at the front desk of the W San Francisco truly went above and beyond. His service was amazing from start to finish—professional, friendly, and consistently positive throughout the day. He provided great suggestions, maintained an excellent demeanor at all times, and was incredibly helpful for prolonged hours without ever missing a beat. It’s rare to see someone so genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. Josh is a true asset to the hotel and made our stay even better. Highly recommend recognizing him for outstanding service!

Nice hotel, a bit loud and rowdy (late night lobby parties) but the sound didn't make it upstairs. Good service, high quality room, yada yada. But, felt inclined to leave a 5-star review solely because of the folks manning the bellman station. I have two bags, a carry-on case and a smaller shoulder bag, that has a strap that doesn't fit over the handle of the suitcase -- at least, I've never figured out a way, and folks helping to stash them usually keep them separate. But, a genius working the desk tonight managed to figure out how to get the two bags to mesh together, which was quite convenient when lugging them around. A small thing, but at the very least appreciated by my back 🙂

Truly appreciated his professionalism and care! If you plan to visit SF The W is the place to stay.
