Close to the airport bass pro shop in the same parking lot to kill some time. Room was great breakfast was great. Tall shower head big restroom. 24 hour gym 24 hour coffee and juice in lobby. Management took care of a couple request before check in . Deserves better than 3.8 ☆
I stay at this Hampton Inn fairly often for work travel. The property is very well-maintained, and the staff - especially Joey - are quite attentive and helpful. Any potential challenges (for example, I arrived once to very little shampoo in the bathroom) are very, very quickly remedied (as in, please hold for five minutes while someone both gives you a general answer and estimated time of completion) and I've been able to navigate everything from last-minute scheduling challenges due to delayed flights to ample parking on-site (not having to pay for parking in the area is also a bonus). It is also a property that is clearly constantly striving to get better. Over the course of the past year, where I've stayed at least once every other month for 1-2 nights, I've noticed improvements in the quality and consistency of their wifi, ease with signing into Netflix on in-room TVs, and have - somehow - never had any issues with digital keys, check-in, or check-out. I appreciate quality and consistency, especially at this price point. I'll be back again soon.
I am not a complainer and i appreciate all the hard working staff at this hotel. Location is very convenient. My main issues is the maintainence of the aging building. Elevator is frustratingly slow for only 4 story building. Electric door lock fails. Air conditioning system could not shut off. The main problem is the electricity stopped working in our last day. We had a long road trip ahead the next day to Las Vegas. So we needed our phones to be charged up. And our ice packs were not cold to keep our drinks cold for the long road trip ahead. Really made our trip for our family inconvenient. I am shocked as this is a Hilton brand name hotel which normally has good quality control.
Have stayed here twice. First time they did not have the king bed room I reserved, told me they were really busy. Not sure the point of a reservation then? They did give a partial refund. Second time we stayed two nights and we got the room we reserved. The hotel is being refreshed which is good, new AC units were being installed, bathrooms were already refreshed. Hopefully room furniture is next as it’s dirty and stained looking. Biggest word of caution is vehicle break ins. It’s not the hotels fault but parking there is not safe. Their lot and the neighboring shopping centers lots all say to remove valuables and park at your own risk. On our second night my enclosed car trailer was broken into along with another guests vehicle. Trailer was parked right under the light pole too. The other guests vehicle was right up against the hotel. Obviously not a safe place to park your vehicle overnight.
This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. My husband and I travel ALOT for work. We stay in several hotels often throughout the month all over the country. This was our first time at a Hampton Inn. Is was a comparable price and we thought let's give it a try. We booked and paid for our room weeks out. After a long day of work, we got to our hotel to check in to find out they canceled our reservations without even telling us! I don't blame the lady at the counter, but she very casually was just like "you've been canceled we're over capacity." I'm sorry, I paid you to hold my room. We made a deal When I gave you money! We're like homeless now. After sitting in our car for 45 minutes talking to priceline just to get my money back, because they had to call your stinking hotel to figure out why we were canceled and that took forever. I'm finally back at a Holiday Inn. They always treat me well. They've never canceled. And they got us in at midnight. And the guy at the front desk was nicer too.
Everything was good. The room was a little dark but clean and functional. AC/Heater was old and water pressure low. Other than that it wasn't bad. Close to many places to ear. We had a pretty pleasant stay.
Worst Hilton experience. Had three rooms prior to check in and unfortunately had the news day of that one room was canceled. Upon check-in , when inquiring , if that third room was feasible was met with hostility and told "I needed to share the rooms the room" . Hospitality was awful; late night guests looked for the complimentary dispensary water which was out; and the front desk workers couldn’t be bothered to fill up the water (which there were two workers by the way). When for water bottles at night, since water was out, we couldn’t even get those as Hilton honor member, because they were "out"; but they were happy to charge us for some. Be aware- you needs to ask for extra towels and items because staying over night they will NOT automatically clean, replenish or make your room up. Stay away.
