Home2 Suites by Hilton Shreveport

Last minute booking due to air travel and so glad I chose this place. We stayed here with our small dog and everyone on the staff was extremely kind and helpful. They were able to accommodate a late checkout due to our Hilton Honors and were kind enough to hold our bags after the checkout while we walked around the area waiting for our delayed flight. The breakfast items were great and the outside patio area was lovely. Exceptional staff and a big thank you to the gentleman who offered our pup a milkbone while we waited!

Room 415 Overall not bad. Would stay again. Not as nice as some Home2’s but still better than the Hamptons have gotten. Room wasn’t quite as clean as I’d hoped. The HVAC was rather obnoxious alllllll night with a low frequency whine. And there’s no option to turn the fan to auto, just hi or low, so the dang thing ran all night. Bathroom faucet barely had enough pressure to rinse a toothbrush but the shower was awesome. Plenty of pressure and hot. Breakfast was great. No complaints at all. Location…well, to get to it from the freeway you drive thru a pretty rough part of town that isn’t too far away. Not too comforting with the signs in the parking lot telling you they’re not responsible for break ins and theft. Thankfully nothing happened to my vehicle. Overall, it’s Louisiana, the roads suck and the level of service isn’t as awesome as other places. But it works in a pinch.

Had a great stay! The front manager Hannah is amazing! Not only did she assist with customer calls but breakfast was so busy and she came out and listened to the people and jumped into action 10/10 would recommend. Love the service!

This hotel was/is top notch. We had all our essentials unlike the Home2 suites in Jackson, MS the previous night. The staff here at Shreveport was fantastic. The host at the desk this morning was so energetic, sweet, kind, and giving. I can go on and on. She helped me with laundry because it ONLY took quarters. She worked overnight and was up like me at 4am....she was fantastic and I wish I got her name....I would recommend THIS place.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very nice and professional. The layout of the parking makes it feel as if there is limited parking even though I’ve never had any trouble finding somewhere to park. There is a nearby shopping area that had trash pickup or something occurring early in the morning both nights that I stayed here. As I recall this was also something that I was aware of during my last stay. I’m not a light sleeper and it managed to wake me up both mornings between 4:00am and 5:00am.

Owners of this hotel - When I travel to Shreveport, I always stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Shreveport. I recently booked two nights for next week but my meetings got changed and only need one night. Expedia reached out and received a message regarding your refusal to grant me a waiver for one night. This is extremely disappointing. I am writing to let you know that my future trips will no longer include a stay at your hotel.

Diamond Review: I had a great stay at Home2 Suites Shreveport. The property was very well maintained and clean throughout. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful, which really made the stay enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
