The Fairfield Place

John and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was gourmet. The room was exceptionally clean and roomy. We stayed in the barn room which is not pictured. The room had a small kitchen, the bathroom had a stand up shower with Bluetooth and rain shower. The little chocolate candies with multiple choices of teas and coffee is also offered. We basically had the whole backyard to ourselves.

This was a strange visit. After getting the door code before arriving, I made my way to the front door to check in. I was able to open the door and expected to see a staff member. I saw a beautifully decorated lobby and dining area, and a long wooden staircase. I walked around to see if anyone was there and could not find a soul. Eventually, someone with two dogs walked in and said I was in the right place and disappeared. For the rest of my stay, I saw no one else. I made my way up the stairs to the room that had been assigned to me via my confirmation email. It was well-appointed and comfortable but had no hot water. With no one around, I had to live with it for the night. I had a relaxed but uneventful evening there, seeing no one else during my stay.

This is a beautiful old world establishment house. It is very clean, and close to where I was visiting friends. This is my second time staying at this house and I recommend it to anyone who would like a bit of flair of the old South. It is very well kept, with tons of amenities, and very quick check-in service. Quick response from the owner.Thanks again John, for a wonderful stay. We loved our stay at John’s place. The rooms were exquisite and the whole place exudes a welcoming vibe! John even provided some amazing vegan options for breakfast to meet our needs. We will definitely stop in again when we have an opportunity! Thank you John for being such a great host! All the little extras and the oat milk lattes were especially enjoyed!

I am so glad to have found this delightful BnB! John was very accommodating with our super late check-in. The house is filled with an eclectic array of art and kick-knacks!! So much to fun to look at. The breakfast waffles were EXCELLENT. We will definitely stay here when traveling through Shreveport again!

What a delightful and well appointed Victorian home, full of antiques and quaint curiosities. The bed was the best this couple had ever slept in and the neighborhood was exceedingly quiet, giving us one of the deepest and longest sleeps we could remember. Breakfast was hearty, charming and southern.

I haven't been able to properly experience the food nor the inn. last week i called in regarding a catering the gentlemen on the phone said he would get back to me once he was at a computer. I've waited and dint get a call back i called them four times and no answer so i went to glow alchemy to do a catering. communication and honesty wasn't met and I would still love to experience Fairfield inn but maybe not this year.
