Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls Downtown

Location is great and the staff were awesome. The lobby area, restaurant and bar were great. You can see the transformation to the tapestry or curio collection in the lobby area. I had an upgraded room that was huge and the balcony was fantastic. They absolutely need to have streaming services on the TV’s, and the shower with the orange rust stains on the upper side of the shower pan will not work under the new name and collection. Very promising though and I would stay again.

Very nice place and the staff were so helpful with getting me to the airport. My room was very nice with a great view. I would stay here again for sure. The underground parking was nice with the snow. Can’t go,wrong here. Didn’t eat in restaurants or use the bar.

The hotel is lovely and the staff was so kind. There's construction going on right now that makes for some awkwardness while checking in and navigating the hotel, but it was less stressful than I expected. The room was spacious, super clean, and had a good view of the river. The bed was harder than I like, but I made myself a pillow nest and slept decently. The best part was the downstairs restaurant, Crave. The food was pretty good, but best of all was hearing, "Would you like a vegetarian or gluten-free menu?" I'm a vegetarian and have never been asked that. Yes, yes I do want the veggie menu, and thanks for asking!

The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. I stayed in a two-queen bedroom on the third floor which offered an awesome view of Sioux Falls. During my stay construction was going on, which thankfully did not affect my stay. I would like to remark that when I first entered the room it had a weird odor, kind of like sewage. At first it was really bad but after a little bit it slowly disappeared. Overall, the hotel is nice the staff are kind. but because of the bad smell I will give this place four stars.

Great suites for bridal prep with plenty of space and natural light. We love the balconies and large windows, and the rooms are always clean and well maintained. Convenient on-site parking is a huge plus, especially compared to paid parking throughout downtown. Highly recommend.

Oct 20,2025. This hotel is massively under construction. They’re doing the best they can given the circumstances but it’s unprofessional to hide the fact that the hotel is a complete mess, loud, and amenities are not available and yet still charge $200/night. Travelers should be able to make an informed decision on where they stay and should know that loud construction noises are going to start at 8am, you will not have access to a workout room, etc. They do have an alternative gym for you to use but it’s not safe for me to go walking in an unfamiliar place at 5am to workout. I would have expected a reduced room rate and transparency that I will be experiencing construction during my stay. I’ve been waffling between going all in on Hilton or switching to Marriott Bonvoy and this has sealed my decision to jump to Marriott.
