Ramada by Wyndham Sioux Falls Airport-Waterpark & Event Ctr

The place needs cleaning and repairs just about everywhere. Carpet is visibly dirty. There are exterior doors completely missing and covered with plywood (it was 0° outside). The TVs for watching sports are purple tinted and ruined. The elevator is not working. There was no microwave in the room.

The Ramada experience was so so. I originally chose this location due to the fact that they have an interactive pool area and an arcade for the kids. Unfortunately, the arcade was shut down, but the pool was pretty good. The restaurant has good food, but gets pretty expensive if you plan on eating there the whole weekend. No breakfast offered which was a bummer. The rooms were I guess okay. The bathroom door you couldn't open and close without a scraping against the floor, the tub wouldn't drain while taking a shower, there were stains on the mattresses, and holes in the wall. But I will admit, I absolutely loved the light up mirror in the bathroom. The pool and good food was about the only good part of the hotel, however outside of the hotel we went to the aquarium and butterfly place. That was actually pretty cool to see, and outside of that they have a huge Park area for kids to play. So we spent most of our time there. Overall, I wouldn't go back.

Don’t stay here! So gross and dirty. We found hair all over the bathtub and a random hole in the ceiling of the bathroom. The pool was murky and just chaos. We didn’t even want to order food there or eat in our room so we left. Bobby at the front desk agreed to give us a refund- Bobby is the only redeeming factor of this place. Pay Bobby more. Clean up your hotel

We traveled 4 1/2 for my husband to have back surgery the following day & they were so nice and concerned for him they put us on the bottom floor in a suite! Thanks to ms Bobbi working the front counter tonight! Best customer service at a hotel I've had in a long time! Will definitely be back l!

This place needs help. I’ll let my pictures do most of the talking. There is a shattered exit door in the back which just has a piece of plywood laid over it. The carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a decade. The elevator is broke. The place is just trashed. The TVs next to the pool have been purple like this for a long time. How much could a new TV cost? Do better Wyndham.

Got room 106 and it was very hot when we first entered, but manageable when we turned the unit to cold. The toilet pressure was not very great but the sink water pressure was pretty strong. The bathtub faucet did not go up all the way for the shower water pressure to be very good. The room location is a little bit of a pain to get too with all the walking but at the same time it isn't a bad spot because it is right next to the ice machine and vending machine. The room is also far away from the pool area so you won't get a strong smell of clorine.

Frustrating and disappointing. Our first room on Thursday evening had no heat in the bedroom. We had to switch rooms at 11:30 pm. New room had a heater that wouldn't shut off so we had to manually turn the unit off to avoid cooking us out.Saturday the toilet overflowed and wouldn't quit running. No shut off valve on the toilet. I had to stand in a flooded bathroom and manually hold the float valve in the toilet while we waited for maintenance and house cleaning. Pool was closed most of Saturday evening due to someone defecating in the pool. Hot tub was closed Sunday morning until checkout due to them failing to turn the heat back on Saturday evening after draining and filling. It was great to pay all the extra money for a pool/ water park that was mostly inoperable. Our key cards were deactivated each day of our stay causing us to be locked out several times and requiring a trip to the front desk each time. None of the exterior lighting works around the entire perimeter of the building. We were warned not to park in the rear of the building.The restaurant on site couldn't seem to make a pizza with the right toppings on it. They did get the 3rd one right. We will probably go back to staying at the Ramkota. Have stayed there half a dozen times and never had near the problems that we had at this dump. I should have listened to the review left the week prior to our stay as our experience was very similar.
