Super 8 Sioux Falls

As I walked in to Super 8 Motel I was greeted by a girl with a beautiful smile name ABBY, She was so cordial with a very up personality and a welcoming smile! Rarely do I experience that kind of Professionalism. She explained everything about this Motel and all the benefits. I was very pleased with my immaculate clean room. Whomever is her supervisor should know her performance as a representation of your company should be handsomely recognized! Wherever I go I will definitely look for a Super 8 in hopes I’m treated the same way.

Stayed here after driving across South Dakota on the way home. Made reservations online while on the road. Check in was quick and easy. Was about 8:30pm when we checked in. The front desk person was nice, and gave us a recommendation on where to grab something to eat, that was walking distance. Check out was quick and easy.

Positive: "" Negative: I did have a incident that upset me. Someone had moved the power cord for the refrigerator to the outlet that is controlled by the light switch. So while I was at work the food that was inside spoiled. Not a big loss but it should be made aware.

The beds were comfy. The lighting was good. The staff were friendly even to my furry family. The option for food and drinks were delicious. The room was clean.That's the good. The bad, no place for my fur babies to potty. The paint and sheet rock above the shower was peeling. You could tell they use to have a pest problem by the smell. There was a couple fighting in the parking lot when we arrived. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room. Other than that it was worth the price.

Online the rooms where advertised as $56 a night. Called to book a room, the room was $67, but we got disconnected and booking at the front desk ended up being $101. So, to start out with they use false advertising, the rooms are older and need renovated, the mattress had stains on them, parking is limited, and the pool is small and needs renovated. I would not recommend this hotel. I was passing through and needed a place to sleep for about 6 hours.

It was nice to be so close to downtown, the U-turns necessary were fine once we became accustomed. Clearly an older hotel but a LOT of the flooring had been replaced, so the feeling was very clean, very sharp. Very nice staff. The woman who checked us in was approachable about finding our Wyndham Rewards and getting us a fair rate and the room we wanted. It was a great stay! Their neighbor to the north in Aberdeen could take a note or two!
