Birch Hill Suites South Bend

Thank u BHS for having me as a guest. Keeping my room clean and helping me out with transferring from another state to Indiana. I am a Union Worker( IBEW) and the special rate that the GM has provided for ALL OF us Union workers has help majorly. The staff is helpful and the building is clean. Thank u so much for the hospitality!!!!!

The whole staff is super here. Starting with Leona, Shawn, Walter, Tois, and the housekeepers, maintanen... The entire crew -- work very hard to be helpful and provide an excellent experience for the tenants who reside here at Birch Hill Suites. I am very grateful and recommend this hotel to my fellow travelers and friends that need housing in this area!!!👍👍👍👍👍

Ms Shawn is the most sweetest woman I ever met very caring and understanding. Lenora made sure I didn’t leave made sure I was comfortable she worked with me honestly they made my day. Felt like I was talking to 2 angels so yes I would highly recommend this place the atmosphere here is everything.

Positive: The full size refrigerator and the room size. Negative: The water didn't get hot. The sink filled up with water while washing my hands. I needed toilet paper, and the check-in desk was closed. I went to check out, and again the check-in desk was closed. There were stink bugs in the room.

This place is a good place to stay!! I constantly saw staff cleaning, daily!! The general manager, Leona, is just great! She remembered my name first time seeing me!! She is very kind and thoughtful. All of the staff are very friendly!! Thank you so much!!!

Seems like every Sunday there's basically no one up front or gone somewhere. Crap attuides besides the GM and a very nice sweet oldey lady . Employees that live there do what they want besides maybe two of them Employees mind their business when they are out of work clothes . This place has become run down over their own staff . I stayed with my sons here for a month about 2 weeks ago . Will return in a few weeks to see how things go.

If I could give it this place zero I would. I arrived at the hotel early. I have never been to a hotel where the no one worked the front desk overnight. I spoke to someone on the phone that said I could check in around 11 am. I arrived around noon, and nobody seemed to know anything about my conversation with the person earlier and acted like it was totally unheard of to arrive early. When i was finally checked in... I was give a key to the room they want me to stay in. When I walked in, their was a rusty refrigerator, the bathroom smelled of mildew, and the room was not very well kept. There was no where to sit or a place for me to put my suitcases to unpack except the bed. What is the purpose of a kitchen, if there is nowhere to sit and eat. I immediately went to the front desk and asked for a refund so I could find somewhere else to stay. They told me no refunds period. I drove 20 hours only to be treated like crap. I will never frequent this chain or any of their related properties.
