Ivy Court Inn & Suites

This was my first visit to South Bend. My sister-in-law graduated from Notre Dame and she's stayed before. The location is excellent, across from the campus. We walked everywhere.cthr suite was spacious and the five of us were quite comfortable

If you’re visiting Notre Dame, this hotel should be on your list. Location is perfect. The rooms (especially bathrooms) could use some updating, but we had a good experience. Buffet breakfast is one of the best I’ve encountered (and the breakfast staff was very kind and helpful). Nice outdoor wrap around porch. We will definitely have this hotel at the top of our list for campus visits.

I checked back through my TripAdvisor review history, as I was quite sure I had reviewed Ivy Court in the past. I did indeed give the Ivy Court a 5-star review eleven years ago after our first visit. Many Ivy Court stays later, I am still giving our experience five stars. While the location is key, the staff is consistently friendly & helpful, breakfast good (love the burritos!) and a cozy, warm atmosphere. There is some need for sprucing up some signs of aging/small damages in rooms, however upgrades have not gone unnoticed.

My Husband and I enjoyed the giant room with all the amenities you could want. It was great that it was withing walking distance of the Notre Dame campus, which is beautiful. We also enjoyed the great breakfast with eggs cooked how you wanted. Lots of other goodies also at breakfast. Cookies everyday at the check-in area. This hotel is a good value.

I stayed here for one night while traveling for work and brought my mom along. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, the rates were very affordable, and the room was spotless and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the internet worked perfectly.||Breakfast exceeded expectations — far better than the typical hotel spread and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to the staff: we went down close to the end of breakfast, and when my mom mentioned they were out of bacon, one of the gentlemen in the dining area got up and immediately asked the kitchen to bring more. Within minutes, fresh bacon appeared, and it completely made her day. That kind of attentiveness and kindness is true customer service at its best.||This hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I will be staying here for my next trip to South Bend.

Location was perfect. It was a family atmosphere. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Price was less expensive than surrounding hotels.
