Shangri-La Motel

Traveling through Spokane and stayed at this Motel. It was a very pleasant experience! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!! The owner was very nice. I was by myself and felt very safe. It was very clean. Had a beautiful kitchen! The entire room was very nice!!

So far , I'm just enjoying my visit here with my husband. I like my experience so far. Very peaceful. And the manager seems nice. I slept good last night. This feels good so far. Good experience. My husband said there wasn't enough hot water this morning. Other than that, my experience here felt good. I hope to stay here again in future with my husband.

Had friends that stayed there not bad for price

Run far, far away!! One exceptionally disgusting employee named Brett or Brent or something like that will come in your room while you're gone!!! This whole place is a filthy trash heap! I've stayed in some pretty rough places but this place takes the prize for the absolute worst. The room hadn't been properly cleaned when we arrived and I had to clean it myself. Then we found the bedbugs. Unfortunately, the bedbugs are probably less gross than the nasty crackheads that rent the rooms long term and the drug dealers that own the place. And the staff will come inside your room when you're not there. Seriously, sleeping in your car would be a better choice than this place.

If I could leave negative reviews I would. Bed bug infestation along with horrible management. I mean you get what you pay for understandably. But when you have no choice in the matter. It's sad such an amazing local is going down like this. This is an edit.... So my family and I moved to Washington State after we had a house fire take literally everything in February 2021. The Shangri-La was the first motel we landed at when we got to Washington State. With just the clothes on our backs.... I don't think bedbugs traveled 3200 miles with us .. Thanks for the insult....

It's okay very affordable especially if you are staying for weeks or months, the rooms are small and pretty basic but they are kitchenettes so they have much larger fridge, stove, kitchen sink and cupboard space than the average hotel/motel so thats nice. And it's in a pretty quite location but still close to everything like restaurants, shopping , things to do etc. I pretty sure they are pet friendly too.

My neighbor died while I was staying here. Apparent suicide. Besides that which was beyond managements control, the bathroom was rotting out in the shower and breeding files and the management was remodeling my room during the day when I was away. There was no lightbulb in the second room and they were out I guess so I supplied my own. The management are nice people though and the other tenants who seem to be mostly long term residents were also friendly and respected each other's privacy.
