Ramada by Wyndham Temple Terrace/Tampa North

There was a roach in one of our rooms and the manager laughed and started making jokes. (Making fun of people calling about gecko poop in the room). Ended up getting a new room. Went 1 day with cold water in the shower. The floors would leave your feet black and the walls were dirty. Also, the lady that does the breakfast was very rude. Do not recommend! Everything was about 15 minutes away, not too bad but could get a better location.

I wasn't really expecting much for the price but I was proven wrong. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. When I walked into the room it was very nice and clean. The bed felt like we slept on a cloud, the covers was so soft. The breakfast was great, I'm used to the breakfast at other hotels being only waffles and cereal. The price was the same as other hotels but it was a lot nicer. This is now my go to hotel when I come on vacation.

Omg soooo bad!! 1. Hot and cold water reversed in the shower. Scalded a family member. I let the front desk know. Maintenance looked said it’s not backward. What?!?!? It’s backwards!!! They then ask me to take a photo of the scald on my minor’s private area! 2. Every aspect of this place smells like smoke. Could not go anywhere to sit outside or in due to the smell. 3. Blood atains on corner of bed sheet. 4. Asked front desk for new towels at 9am. It is 9pm still waiting. Called front desk. No answer. 5. Went to front desk twice. Each time person at desk was on their cell phone. Helped while on the phone with their friends. This is crazy town folks. Don’t recommend…. Unless you smoke, you like waiting 12+ hours for a towel, and you want to get burned.

Seedy hotel, homeless hangs around. Rooms are somewhat updated with nice furniture but bathrooms are in some bad shape. First room mildew was so bad they moved me. Second room was better but bath tub had peeling paint, hole in wall. Next morning no hot water. Was moved to a different room which was much better. All updated. But when I went to shower the tub spout fell off Snd hit my foot.

It's upgrading slowly, my room was dirty in the past, now it's clean. Staff were nice, and the breakfast is good. Includes free parking as well. It's pleasant enough to make you comfortable, although the hotel doesn't have much amenities. They have a big selection of breakfast food. My only downside was that the snacks in the lobby were more expensive than usual. Overall, getting better, would recommend, dont expect full comfort. (Includes an I-hop you can walk to!)

I will give the most honest review i possibly can. I came here for one night and only paid 57 dollars. The staff was nice and friendly, but that's the only real upside to this place other than the price and proximity to busch gardens. The hotel itself is in a bad area, and appeared to have several homeless people living in their cars on the property. The car i parked next to at 2 am had a man sleeping in it which was a bit off putting to say the least. The entire outside smelled strongly of weed, and it was quite bad. There were a lot of strange loud yelling and screaming around 3 and 4 am which woke me up multiple times. The rooms themselves were standard, the bed seemed very clean with new sheets, but the bathroom did not seem as clean. The floor had some strange spots on it that I was not sure about. The bathroom floor also did feel slightly sticky when walking barefoot on it, which made me where shoes to shower since it just didn't feel very clean. I also had several mosquitos inside my room despite me not seeing any outside, so not sure how they got in. The most important thing that knocked my overall score to a 2 is this was the worst breakfast I have EVER had. The eggs were not good at all and tasted rubbery and weird, nothing pre-made had a single lick of seasoning or flavor. The drink machine was decent, I have traveled a lot and sometimes the juices are mostly water, but this one worked, so that was the one upside. Overall, if you value breakfast and a good night's sleep and are visiting busch gardens, I would drive an extra 15 minutes or so to a different hotel closer to the city with a similar rate. I often travel to Tampa and this was probably the worst hotel I have had out of around 4 or 5. Overall though, I can't complain too much for the price, at the end of the day it is a place to sleep for 50 dollars that is semi-clean and just happens to have some homeless sleeping outside. Conclusion, if they worked harder to clean the bathrooms, hired some security to get unwanted people off the property, and got a better cook for breakfast, then this place could be pretty good, until then, not horrible, but on the lower end of hotels for sure.

Wasn't even worth the 100 dollars we paid to stay here. We arrived and the room is labeled as non smoking however the outside and inside of our room reeked of marijuana. We quickly got dressed and left the room to go out and didn't take the time to look around which I wish we would have. The floor is sticky and dirty. There were lipstick marks in the bathroom near the sink. The toilet was broken I'm hoping to god that it's just more lipstick and not blood sprayed on the wall behind the toilet. There was also what I assume is a dead mosquito or love bug against the wall. Overall it was gross. Made us feel unclean and not safe to even use the towels that were provided. The funniest thing was seeing a sign this morning that said the room was sanitized for our safety. Would definitely not stay here again unfortunately. Only upside is that staff were very nice.
