Days Inn by Wyndham Toledo

After driving past this hotel for years and wondering what it is actually like, I decided to stay here to celebrate NYE at the casino since it is the closest option. Here is my honest review: After pulling in and parking, there were the usual shady people walking around the parking lot and property that you would expect, but none of them bothered me. After walking into the lobby, you are instantly hit by the smell of weed (but hey, it is Toledo, what do you expect). The lady at the front desk was nice and the check-in process was quick. I got my room key and headed towards my room. The entire hotel is laminate flooring, so it is loud and echoey. Once I walked into my room, we were again hit by a smell, but instead cleaning products, which I suppose is a good sign. The room itself was pretty run down: the furniture was worn, the walls were patched numerous times, the trim was poorly repaired, etc. The room did have a large TV with cable and the bed was surprisingly comfy (no bugs). Overall, it was right about what I expected. I would not stay here with a family or kids, but I would definitely stay here again if I decided to.

My room was ratchet as f**k. Hole in the door. Missing towel rack. Toilet was clogged when I got in it. Smelled like weed. Kids running up & down the halls. Possible bed bugs. That staff was friendly. Front door was locked when I arrived.

The owner was really nice. Gave a discount for losing are house in a fire.

Th2ley have scabbeies or dust mites because I'm homeless had a surgery saved money for a two week stay in a motel ot hotel and I picked this place now my scare tissue is all Messed up itches and burns because I'm getting. Chewed up by this places bugs, it's disgusting as soon as they get rid of the bugs and open the pool restaurant diner and gym keep the rates they have now it will be a amazing 5 star place.

Ok-it’s not awful. But it could use a good wall wash, baseboards cleaned, and a general deep clean. You can tell they are putting money back into the rooms but it needs cleaned. The cigarette smell is strong. Wash those walls. Customer service was great. Quiet.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable, but lopsided, almost like a fold out. The hot tub turned on, but the jets didn't work. When I called the front desk, they stated that they were aware of the issue, but that's why I got such a good price on the room. Not a huge issue, but I should've been asked if that was okay or at least warned upon check in.

Wouldn't let my dog stay here. Checked in late at night while traveling through Ohio. The lobby is run down and smelled of cigarette smoke, had peeling paint, stained carpets and ceiling tiles. Desk attendant was nice enough. Never made it to my room. The "secure" outside door was broken and didn't lock, the hallway to my room had trash outside some of the other rooms and smelled musty. Clearly people are living there which i have no problem with but keep it clean. Thankfully my room key didn't work which I took as a sign and got the heck out of there. This place is gross! Do not stay here. There are plenty of other options for similar price in the area.
