An Unforgettable Experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, it was clear that we were in for an exceptional experience. The hotel exudes elegance and sophistication, but it’s the level of service that truly sets it apart.|Zak from front desk went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional and very catering. Escada front desk manger was very warm and attentive. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and always greeted us with a warm smile, making us feel valued and at home.|The accommodations were equally impressive. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was heavenly, and the bathroom was luxurious—truly a sanctuary after a long day of exploring the city.|The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, the quality of service and the warm hospitality will make your stay unforgettable. We left feeling pampered, relaxed, and already planning our next visit.|Highly recommend!

Wow... Just WOW! We have stayed club level at multiple Ritz properties and this particular experience was far and away the best we've had! Miss Beri and Miss Devi weren't just kind, they were loving and went out of their way to make my daughter feel comfortable and at home in the lounge. They were exceptional and left us wanting for nothing. Please celebrate them. We paid $300 to have club access on NYE and we would do it over and over again because it's such a value for the treatment and amenities received! The presentations and food were all phenomenal in addition to having a large selection of extra desserts for the holiday! The negronis that Ms. Beri made me were as good as I've ever had! The cordial selection was also unreal with 8 different liquors available to you! And truly the desserts and decorations were out of this world and so fun! The lounge space is much nicer than some of the other properties in addition to feeling larger with a better layout! Room was also very nicely appointed, clean, and everything we needed with a luxurious bathroom. Hazel and Kenneth were also helpful and eager to please! We will absolutely be back to see Miss Beri and Miss Devi! Pro Tip- Don't miss out on the Presidential cookie presentation at 5:30pm and you can self-park in the garage using Spot Hero for 1/2 the price of valet if you are traveling light like we were. But FYI 2 levels of the garage only have stair access, so valet or drop luggage first if you are packed heavy.

It's a pretty standard Ritz with nice little DC touches. It's a little nicer and has more modern styling than the two RCs in the suburbs but is probably a little below the RC Georgetown (which is only like a mile away). I like that the art is definitely playful with more abstract paintings and photos. The free tea in the lobby and presidential cookie service is a fun touch. West End can also be a nice location - there isn't a ton immediately close by but you're easily walkable to Georgetown or Dupont. I'll give a shout out that the hotel was really sweet for our anniversary with a little treat and a bottle of prosecco waiting after turn down service. I wish there was a little more to the lobby space and am annoyed by any hotel that doesn't include in-room coffee machines (dragging myself down to the lobby first thing in the morning is not my preferred ritual). Apparently you can request a Nespresso but I didn't even notice the lack of coffee until morning, assuming it was just tucked away behind one of the closets or cupboards. These are minor complaints for a very admirable experience

If there were a rating higher than five stars, this Ritz-Carlton would earn it effortlessly. The service is truly exceptional—from the front desk (especially Eskedar), to guest services, to the daily housekeeper—everyone made me feel at home every single day. That meant a great deal during my extended stay, especially while missing home.||If other hotels delivered even half this level of hospitality, travel would be a much better experience. This is luxury in the truest sense of the word. Add in the convenient access to an Equinox gym, and it’s hard to imagine a better stay. Hands down, one of the best hotels in DC.

We stayed a single night here on a Saturday to visit and hang out with family at DC bars. Checking in was fabulous! They young lady who checked us in hit all the key points about the hotel, told us about their amazing daily "Presidential Cookies" and even recognized my status. The property is beautiful and very central/walkable to many places to eat, drink, and party. Valet was perfect! He was very helpful and even told me they would provide free transportation via their private car within 2 miles, including pickup. Which we used! And our driver, Foster was perfect!||The room was comfy and quite large too. Bed offered the perfect sleep! TV channels was lackluster, but that was fine for this stay. The tub had some very odd, black nastiness all along the bottom of it, but we took showers, so this didn’t affect us.||Everyone we encountered while at this property was helpful and pleasant. Overall, we really enjoyed this visit and we’ll definitely return!

The overall impression of the afternoon tea meets the standards of a five-star hotel. The taste is excellent, clearly the work of a high-level pastry chef. The tea is also exceptionally good. I tried two types, and both were great. However, the afternoon tea area is located on the first floor of the hotel, next to the bar, with no windows, which doesn’t feel very upscale. In addition, all the decorations in the space are artificial flowers, which also feels less refined. It meets the standards of a five-star hotel, but not the standard of The Ritz-Carlton.

The hotel is stunning and beautiful with some great amenities. We were greeted at the front desk by Eskedar and felt so welcomed. She took care of us and engaged with us in a way that is rare. I travel quite a bit and she is one of the best hotel staff I have ever encountered the readon why i followed her from the Salamander !! My Wife booked the Ritz Carlton for my birthday celebration and it was such a great choice. I felt so special! We will definitely go back! Hello Ritz Carlton bye bye Salamander.
