Quality Inn Waterbury East

Staff truly was disgusting, unprofessional and very rude. Basically told me that someone committed suicide at the hotel. The room was tacky, they gave no instructions for anything, barely had towels in the room. Housekeeping started coming down the hallway at 8am, very noisily. They spoke no English. The place was more of a cheap motel and shouldn't be a part of the "Choice group".

Located just off the highway makes it a convenient stop if driving through. |Room included a fridge and microwave but was in need of refresh |There were numerous fast food and full-service restaurant options nearby.|The included complimentary breakfast was minimally stocked, and the room was very small.

The outside of the hotel needs to be renovated, painted and the sidewalks need to be steam cleaned. The rooms needed more amenities like a chain lock on the door, larger TV, hook on the bathroom door, not a metal framed bed. AND there were people outside of their rooms, going up and down the sidewalks running and screaming and laughing until 130 in the morning and nobody on your staff did anything about it. So consequently, I will not be staying there again and I will tell everyone that I know not to bother.

Room smelled awful but couldn't switch since I was told they were booked solid. I had to go to Walmart to buy Febreeze just to survive. The air conditioner worked good, but blew out the smell of cigarettes. So I could swaet or die of cigarette smoke. The walls had grime on them and what appeared to be a smeared booger on the bathroom wall. The pillows were the worst ever if you can call them pillows. They were pillow cases stuffed and rolled into a ball. Also, the clientele or whoever the people were outside at all hours of the night didn't leave us feeling safe or able to sleep well. Door to room didn't shut well and had gaps so the sound of the highway came right in. No matter how cheap this place is, pay more and stay elsewhere. FYI- as we were checking out another guest wanted his money back it was so bad. Never again

It is a good bare bones motel, but it is still bare bones. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. For some reason, even if your room is in the rear of the building, they tell you to only park in the front. The breakfast in the morning wasn't worth eating and the coffee was the worst I've had in a long time.

My husband and I stayed at this dump. Upon arrival there were about 15 cops there because of a stabbing, and the whole night we were constantly worried and on our feet. There was also no remote in the room and the phone was not working to then call them Highly suggest sleeping on the streets then this place

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was a traumatic experience. A man was grabbing a woman by her neck and she was screaming in pain. Had to call cops and felt unsafe the whole night. The room was beyond disgusting. Bed was grossly unclean with hair and stain all about. Bathroom was extremely tiny and it was probably the worst room I've ever stayed in. This is also NOT a hotel, it is barely a motel. False advertisement and whomever gave this five stars is wildly mistaken. If I could give it negative stars I would.
