Baymont by Wyndham Wichita Falls

It didn't seem as nice this year as it did last year. There were several missteps -initially, housekeeping had left dirty linens in my room and there were no wash cloths. The back stairwell's door was left open a number of times (so much for security), including late at night. On the positive side, the person running their breakfast was OUTSTANDING in keeping breakfast stocked and tidy. Staff was courteous and seemed to communicate with each other well.

Everything was great. From check in to departure, and all in between. Every single staff member I encountered was very friendly, kind and congenial. The lady that does the breakfast is very good and knows what she's doing! Even the yard guy was nice!

My wife and I arrived last night to check in and were unexpectedly told there was a deposit required. This was never mentioned beforehand during the reservation process. When I calmly explained that this information had not been disclosed, the staff member became very rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, she threatened to call the police if I did not leave. Because of how we were treated, we were unable to stay. Now the property is refusing to issue a refund. The entire experience was unacceptable and very disappointing. Based on our experience, I do not recommend staying at this property.

Stayed here in Jan 2026, overall wasn’t a bad experience. The front desk staff was amazing and really helped me with anything extra I needed. The room itself wasn’t the cleanest at all which is why I asked for new sheets. Housekeeping seemed a little off, not very detailed. Even after I put up my do not disturb I found a new towel placed in my room. Anyways, Thank you Cassie for your smile and energy!

When I calmly asked for clarification, the staff member became very rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, we were treated disrespectfully and made to feel unwelcome. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and rather than providing clear information, management handled it poorly. Because of how we were treated, we did not feel comfortable staying at the property. We are now also dealing with difficulty receiving a refund. I have stayed at other Baymont locations before without any issues, which makes this experience even more disappointing. This visit reflects very poorly on the property’s management and customer service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here.

Clean and comfortable. The pool was well kept and heated. It's shallow but it's good for exercise. Breakfast has taco buffet which was nice for low carb/protein diet.

They lie about photos of dog poop in the room. There was no dog poop in the room charged an extra $150. Their elevators is in bad shape. It takes forever to get to the bottom you think it’s already quit because it takes so long lol we’ll never stay there again. Recommended for nobody to
