Best Western North Side Inn

The shower chair in the accessible room was broke and the hotel had no other options. No counter/place in the shower to put shampoo or body wash. But, the pressure was great and water was niceand hot. Accessible room was small but manageable. Pillows weren't that great.

Family with 2 dogs staying one night. Room was very dirty, including a pill cut in half in plain sight on the floor. Glad my 2 year old didn’t see that before me. Water on full hot was just warm in the shower, though the sink was hot. Breakfast was half stocked at best and the cheapest I’ve seen at a BW. Topping it all off they actually charge $20 per pet so you’re gonna lose money here. Might as well do a nicer hotel, you’ll pay the same pet fee in the end and avoid the poor experience.

A Four-Star Experience… If You’re a Bug. Ah, the Best Western Inn — where the wildlife comes indoors for a cozy stay. I squished three bugs before I even unpacked, so at least I got to meet some of the regulars early on. Breakfast was a highlight — if you’ve ever wondered what happens when you melt cheese and then immediately regret it, try the omelette. The texture was… avant-garde. The shower offered a rustic spa experience, complete with mold in every corner and a shower curtain installed a solid third into the stall, ensuring you’ll never quite know where "inside the shower" begins. The shower mat also had its own ecosystem, so that was fun. The toilet seat added an extra thrill by bring loose enough to keep you guessing weather you'd fall off mid-thought. And don’t forget the parking lot — designed by someone who hates front bumpers. I scraped mine trying to exit, which I assume is part of the "adventure package." All in all, a memorable stay. I’m rating it 4 stars out of sheer respect for the confidence it takes to operate like this.

We walked in and immediately went to the front desk to request a room change because the shower was not clean. The front desk staff member refused and stated that we were not allowed to change rooms, even though we had not unpacked. I explained that we hadn’t even placed our bags on the bed, but he refused again. We now have to pay for a room that we cannot even shower in. The parking lot is empty, and the staff member confirmed that other rooms were available, yet we were still not allowed to change rooms.This experience is unacceptable and does not meet reasonable cleanliness or customer service standards.

Please reconsider staying here go stay at a hotel downtown we had cockroaches in the bathroom and on our bed. Finding at least 5 while staying there. The sheets felt like sleeping in a shower curtain and our comforter looked like it had blood on it. The pillows are super small. It is built by an unsafe neighborhood and dogs bark like crazy in the early morning. However the front desk was great service! They were friendly and gave us a packet of things to do while in town.

Arrived and checked in to our room around 7 pm and was referred to a nearby restaurant for dinner, which was a good call. We arrived back at our room around 8:30 pm and went to bed, as we had spent the whole day in traffic and were worn out. Right at midnight the power went off in the whole building - no lights, no heat, no phone. I went down to the lobby desk and there was no staff present, but there were, what looked like "homeless" people bundled up in the lobby area with all their bags of belongings with them. I went back to our room and we bundled up and made it through the night. The power was still off when we got up at 7 am. We were planning on having breakfast in the lobby before leaving, but that was not available either. We went ahead and checked out at 8 am instead of 9 am like we had planned. No apologies, no offer of partial credit for all the inconveniences we suffered. I asked about partial compensation and the clerk would only reply he would talk to the manager and see what he would do. Of course, we never heard from the manager and the full price was charged on my card. The power was still off when we left.
