Homewood Suites by Hilton Wichita Falls

Positive: This hotel exceeded my expectations; we stayed for a week to visit family in the area. The breakfast was really good with a variety of choices, this is a better spread than many other hotels in the area. The pool was the sole reason we chose this hotel. Negative: For the duration of our stay, I went to the front desk four times and every time no one was there. Times varied- breakfast time, mid-day mostly. Also, no disinfectant wipes in the fitness center all week. Wasn't able to tell the front desk personnel......

The exterior upon arrival was well maintained and inviting. Walking in lobby was so impressive. Decorated for holidays and pretty. Front desk rep was Kudo which provided excellent service. We told him our preference on a room and he gave us the perfect one. The room Is like a small apartment. It was so well equipped and clean. Room was quiet and bed comfortable. Breakfast next morning was provided for free and it was so much bettrr than most free hotel breakfasts. Old fashioned oatmeal with all the toppings, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon & chorizo. Tortillas, red sauce, cheese and more. Also pastries, waffles, yogurt, and cereal. More I can't remember. All staff was friendly.

Very nice place - our room (310) felt like a little apartment, instead of a hotel room! Very comfy bed, nice couch, and good sized kitchen - it even had a table with 2 chairs! Loved the western art in our room, and all throughout the hotel as well.

We enjoyed our stay. Nekia, the front desk clerk when we checked in, was very friendly, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The morning clerk was exactly the same. Breakfast was very good. We stayed on the back side of the hotel and had the best view of the little lake! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

Needs a refresh kind of worn. Breakfast definitely needs to improve Eggs were horrible. And I don't know what they were thinking putting BBQ pork out for breakfast. And the cheap maple sausage, I believe you can do better than that.

First of we got into our room and noticed a brown spot (possibly poop, earwax, or a booger) on the blanket. the hot tube had a green haze and some weird dust in the bottom so i did not use it which i was excited to. the pool was cold and had writings on the depth places say things like "Hi". The service sucks we requested a new blanket (because the other one had the spot) and they dropped it off but didn't knock so i didn't know it was here intel we went out to get coffee. plus when we were swimming there were no towels to dry of with which we requested 3 but a girl arrived with head phones on and left 2 so i had to share. also why does the bathroom doors never latch at Hilton or Marriot so you have to tell every one that you are showering or taking a 2

I rarely write reviews, but our stay at Hilton Homewood Suites last night was a complete letdown, it was more like a Motel 6 pretending to be a suite. The room didn’t match the photos at all. What was advertised as a spacious living area with a fireplace and jacuzzi turned out to be a cramped, sad excuse for a hotel room. The couch looked like it had survived a cat apocalypse, the ottoman corners were shredded, and the pillow had what looked like bite marks. The white curtains had mysterious brown stains, and the lampshade looked like it had been in a battle. I booked this stay for my daughter’s 15th birthday with a few friends and confirmed ahead of time that the pool and hot tub were working. We were told everything was fine on Friday, when we arrived, the hot tub had been out of order since Thursday, and the front desk acted completely unconcerned. I tried to salvage the night with the in room jacuzzi…only to find it didn’t exist. Those photos? They’re of the presidential suite, but they’re being used to advertise on a third party website as a standard two queen room with a tiny living area. Misleading is an understatement. To make matters worse, my parents stayed here recently, paid less, and got a bigger, better room, even with our military discount. When I called for an upgrade, I was told our room was the "best available," and the only "compensation" was 200 points, which I declined since all I wanted was a better room. My husband had to go down and practically raise hell to get a $30 discount...hardly adequate for a ruined birthday. Between misleading photos, filthy furnishings, broken amenities, and underwhelming customer service, this hotel is not worth your money, time, or stress. Avoid Hilton Homewood Suites if you expect a clean, functional, comfortable stay.
