OYO Hotel Wichita Falls - Downtown

Honestly, I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. I booked my reservation online very easy process the girl at the front desk when I checked in was extremely friendly and customer service oriented. She went out of her way to make sure that I had a ground floor when I got to my room I was pretty amazed just along The cleanliness very quiet here the beds are comfortable. The Wi-Fi is very fast. They have plenty of channels to choose from on TV. The shower has extremely good pressure no complaints whatsoever. I love this place and I would definitely stay here again if I am through the area.

I needed to stay close to downtown Wichita Falls and decided I couldn't beat the price Regency offered. I obviously didn't expect much upon arrival. And to be honest, I didn't have a bad stay. I'm simply giving it a poor rating because, well, it's nowhere near as nice and clean as most other hotels. Outdated, old carpeting, room had a funny smell, door allowed a lot of light in between the gaps...basically everything was just old and on the verge of falling apart. On top of that breakfast is not included as it suggests - only coffee, which was the worst coffee I have ever had. Wifi worked very well on the other hand. If you need a very cheap place to stay, go for it. At least it's clean and bug free.

Called for rates- My husband spoke to a guy there and gave us a $45/ per night deal. Advised him he would call him back so he can talk to me about it. Guy automatically changed his whole mood and became hostile asking him who made the decisions in our relationship- that he didn’t understand why he had to run it by me. Claimed his hotel was a 4 star and he wasn’t going to get a better deal anywhere else. Yet went on Expedia at that same hotel was for $39/per night. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

Took 100 deposit from and did not refund it on 2different stays 1st one 12/13/25 to 12/19/25 and then 01/04/26- 01/09/26 Have tried numerous times to get ahold of front desk and customer service with no luck. It's now 2/03/26 and no money refunded. Do not go to this motel, you will not get your deposits back. No Internet service as described and heat didn't work

Awful hotel with even worse staff. I accidentally booked the hotel for tonight when it was supposed to be tomorrow, and when I called the property they said they can't change the date because my reservation does not exist in their system, according to them. I tried telling them I have the confirmation email, and all I need to do is just push the reservation to tomorrow and all I got was "uhhhhhh, ok, no." Top notch customer service from them, I expected nothing less than this from OYO. Don't stay here, they'll steal your money.

I stayed here about 2 months ago for 1 night. I was double-changed. When I talked to the front desk, they told me I wasn't double-charged and needed to wait for a bank statement. I ended up staying at the Econolodge every other weekend I was in Wichita Falls and liked their motel a lot more.
