Bel Air Motel

Seems like it's for locals only, rooms are big

When I had no internet at home, I thought I would just stay in a reasonable price motel for a night to use their internet. I went there, and asked them how much for one person, and they said forty dollars. I showed them my ID, and filled out the paper and handed it to them. She asked if I was alone, and I said, yes. Ok, that's twice I said it. So, she looked over the paper as I was counting out my cash, and she asked if anybody else was going to stay in the room with me. I said no. THREE. Then she asked if I was alone. At that point, I said, "If you are just going to stand there and ask me the same question over and over, we aren't getting anywhere here". So I took my ID back and left.

The room itself was immaculate really. A bit noisy at night but overall not too bad for being on South Broadway. We were however very disappointed to find out 3 days into our stay that our bed was infested with bed bugs! We specifically asked about this prior to checking in and was assured by the owner that there was no issue. On top of that, he refused to refund any of our money. He was rude saying that we were the first ones to complain, but the maintenence man told my husband that the room was sprayed the night before we moved in. I would not recommend a stay in room 120 ,due to bed bugs. Also, the owner offered to over us to 3 other rooms, 104, 106, and 107. All of which also had bed bugs on the mattress.

It was a nice and quiet stay. Rooms were nice and clean. Price was also reasonable free WiFi as well. Parking lot was well lit up at night. Would recommend if passing through and dont want to stay at a hotel.

I've been staying here off n on over the past 10yrs. Rooms are all king sized beds n flat screen tv's out of all the motels on Broadway this is the only one I choose to stay .reasonable rates friendly staff.

The room is big but the bathroom is small and has no counter space. There are no nightstand on either side of the bed. The cost to stay at this motel is $650 a month for 2 people.

I like the cool affect from the blue and red lights. But the cyrens were a bit noisie . People were real friendly trying to sell us carts full of cloths,and starios. The decorations must have been bought at bed bugs and beyond. we had to through away all are belonging it was infested with bugs.Never coming back to wichita.
