Candlewood Suites Wichita Northwest

I was VERY pleasantly surprised with my stay. Not gonna lie, that 3.4 star review had me a bit apprehensive about staying here. WOW, was I satisfied. Front desk guy was friendly and accommodating. The room and bed were very comfy. HUGE late model tv. I'm nearsighted and didnt even have to wear my glasses to watch LOL! My ONLY concern was where my room was located. Room 210 is right above the gazebo and people were out there just enjoying their time and socializing until around 10pm. I could hear it all though. That aside, I would definitely book here again!!

The suite was large, not cleaned too well. Lots of girls hair in the bathroom. Towels were not clean. Two large spiders so far. The problem with the room is there is no hot water. Slightly warm water at best. Talked to the manager, first he said he would take a look. Next day I was told there was an error message. Then I was told just to wait a few hours and it would be hot again. It wasn't. Later that night same thing, slightly warm water. I just want a hot shower! Friendly staff would just like some answers

Very clean and in great condition, appeared to be relatively new hotel. The kitchenette was FULLY stocked with everything you need. I often bring food when travelling to keep dining out costs down so this was a HUGE benefit to me. Nicest kitchen I have ever seen in a hotel. Quick and easy check in/out. Maid ignored do not disturb sign in the morning, which was the only thing that was not perfect. Fresh ground coffee in the lobby! No breakfast but the hotel was a pretty good value.

I was only there overnight New Year’s Eve and the hotel room was very nice. It was updated, clean & spacious. It provides everything you need for an extended stay. Full size refrigerator, microwave, burner, kitchen sink, dishes, cups and utensils. The manager was easy to talk to, I called per instructions to let him know I would be in after 9:00 and to not cancel my room, no problem. There’s no breakfast, they do have coffee, and a snack area where you can buy frozen meals, & snacks. There is no shuttle to the airport. The no shuttle and no breakfast are my only complaints.

I would like to mention Prince, David and Palash by name because I interacted directly with them directly, and recall their names. Prince definitely stood out! I apologize that I don't remember everyone's name, but the entire staff was exceptional! From the front desk to housekeeping, they all were great! I'll admit, I've been kinda "high maintenance" but these guys met every need and treated me with kindness, patience and attention to detail. I travel a lot for business and it's very rare to experience this level of courtesy and customer service exhibited by the entire staff. That is a direct reflection of management! That level of consistency amongst the team can only be achieved by good leadership and providing a good work environment. Kudos to the leadership at this Candlewood Suites location!

Everyone here was absolutely amazing. They will bend over backwards to help you with anything. Rooms are very clean, amazing showers, and makes you feel at home. I travel for work and this place has been my absolute favorite.

I booked a room with a roll-in shower, as I always do. Not only did I get a room with a tub, but this hotel doesn't HAVE a room with a roll-in shower, despite what it says on their booking website. I asked them to please change the listing, but they have not. The only things that made this bathroom accessible at all were a single grab bar and a detachable showerhead, though that showerhead, when mounted, can't be above chest height. The room was also dirty. I found some kind of food in the chair and on the floor. The curtain was sticking to itself from some unknown substance. They never removed the adhesive from the label on the kitchenette counter, so that's just a rectangle of filth now. I've provided images.
