Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita

Excellent stay from start to finish! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with a great historic charm. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. The staff are friendly and professional, making check-in and the entire stay smooth and easy. The complimentary breakfast and evening snacks are a fantastic bonus. Great location near downtown and the river—highly recommend for anyone visiting Wichita! If you’d like it shorter, more business-travel focused, or more about amenities like breakfast and happy hour, I can adjust it 👍

The staff here went above and beyond to help us when an external booking site canceled our reservation! They were incredibly kind and made sure we were taken care of. The hotel has beautiful views and great access to Century II, Sedgwick County Historical Museum, and other downtown attractions. Rooms were very nice and clean, and staff throughout the building were friendly and well equipped to do their jobs well. Nightly snacks and drinks, and breakfast in the morning are always nice and feature great food options - and staff is always there to keep things restocked and clean up. It's no surprise the dining area gets very busy! We're huge fans of Drury Inns and this one is by far our favorite. The historical renovation has been done well and it's a treat to stay in such a wonderful and historic hotel.

We had an amazing stay at this Drury location. We’ve stayed at many Drury hotels over the years, but this visit truly deserved a five-star review for one main reason: Costello, the gentleman working in the dining room during dinner. Costello was absolutely outstanding—bright, welcoming, and genuinely kind. His wonderful charm and positive energy made us feel completely at home. It’s rare to meet someone who so clearly loves what they do and goes out of their way to make every guest feel special. He truly deserves recognition for his exceptional service and dedication. Thank you for a wonderful stay and an unforgettable experience.

Let me start by saying I love the location. I have stayed in the building before when it was another hotel chain years ago and Drury has made some lovely improvements. Check in was a breeze. The Parking garage is across the street but they have a covered walkway to the hotel. We stayed on the second floor so we had easy access to the garage. The evening reception was typical Drury selections for a Sunday night. We just had the cocktails as we eaten out. ||I do have to say that the noise level was a bit much. I could hear the entire conversation that the people next door were having and they weren't yelling by any means. Hallway noise was a bit more noticeable here as well. ||Water pressure wasn't great but again, it's an older building so I chock it up to that. Wi-Fi was great. Bed was comfortable. We did have to sleep with the AC on as it was too warm in the room. ||Value wise, it was comparable to other hotels in the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at Drury Plaza Hotel Wichita. The rooms show a little age in the decor but they are still very comfortable and well kept, and everything was spotless. The staff were friendly and accommodating the entire time which made check in and the overall visit smooth. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that feels more like an upscale steakhouse, so the prices are higher, but the food and atmosphere are great. The complimentary breakfast was solid with enough choices to be convenient before heading out for the day. The outside of the hotel is impressive and the location is hard to beat right by the river and bridge, giving you nice scenery and easy places to walk. Overall it is a reliable and comfortable option in Wichita that I would happily book again.

The rooms are amazing and beautifully taken care of and very clean and warm. Costello was amazing as always. He’s been always amazing since 2019. That’s how long we’ve been saying on and off at this hotel. It’s the best staycation I ever have. Mr. Sam is always amazing as well. I just met him but he’s good.
