SpringHill Suites by Marriott Wichita East at Plazzio

Great hotel! I was treated with friendliness the moment that I walked in the door. Every request that I made was fulfilled with care. Front desk personnel was the most helpful, kind lady I've met. Only, draw back was the pool was only 4 foot, but my daughter's made it work and we were given a handicap room which was a little inconvenient but we didnt complain. The continental breakfast was delicious the kids said. Coffee was fresh and hot....not weak nor strong, just the right flavor. Im a local, this was just a weekend getaway for my girls but my next I need a weekend getaway it will be here again.

Would not recommend, very dated interior that is just not nice at all for the price they want for a room. Bathroom floors are as slippery as ice, on both the queen size bed headboards the fabric/leather is worn and peeling away, cheap dime a dozen towels, lamp shade busted and leaning to one side, most of all the pillows are made for a midget, they literally are just 18" wide (just horrible). All of these mentioned issues added up to an unpleasant night's stay we had to pay $$$ for.

Positive: Clean rooms decent breakfast Negative: To much noise, I could hear the toilet flush from above, neighbors next door too loud, not sound proof .

The check in process was easy. They were polite at the front desk. The room was large and clean. The shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. I was not super satisfied with the pillows but they also weren’t too bad, just ok. There were quite a few kids there during my stay and they all enjoyed the pool. There’s a water bottle refill station at the gym. Hot complimentary breakfast. Overall service was good and the room was nice. Hotel is located in a good area.

The rooms were great, breakfast was fantastic, bit staff didnt pay much attention to cleanliness of public bathroom downstairs. There was also trash by the pool for 2 days now. We will behere until Thursday. I was going to see how long it took anyone to get to the bathroom, but with as many people that are here, I'd be really upset if there was no TP... Already having to dry my hands with the only box of Kleenex (and no more paper towels) there is on the counter.

We stopped here heading south on our road trip and loved it so much, we rebooked for our return north! This property checks all the boxes — and then some. Mobile check-in and mobile key were processed quickly and smoothly (we’ve stayed over 10 nights with Marriott this month, and this is the only property that got it exactly right!). The parking lot was clean and had plenty of space. The lobby was spotless, and we were warmly greeted by a front desk representative every time we came and went — a small touch that really made us feel welcome. Our room was newly updated, clean, and spacious — perfect for a family. Breakfast was another highlight! All of the standard Marriott options were there, everything was well-labeled (a huge plus for our vegan/vegetarian family), and the breakfast attendant was kind and helpful, even assisting my kids with getting their food. This SpringHill Suites truly exceeded expectations — we’d absolutely stay again!

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Decent free breakfast. Tiny pool. Outdated rooms. The headboard looks like it's older than the hotel.
