Front Street Inn

Room was clean and newly renovated. The cookies and mints were a nice touch. Having a coffee bar and cocktail bar below makes for a nice stay. Great location with private parking. We would definitely stay here again!

The Front Street Inn places you smack dab in the middle of everything downtown Wilmington, super convenient. It's not your traditional Inn with a check in desk and bellmen; rather you check in with an entry code sent to your email before your stay. There is no official front desk, so we spoke with the people at the stand by the parking lot, and they were able to share information and assist bringing my parents' bags to their room, up a flight of stairs. There's a small sitting area on the balcony outside the rooms, and each room has its own unique decor. We love the eye for detail and design. Our room is The Hamptons, with two double beds and a separate room with TV and sitting area and desk (though it is open to the bedroom because no doors exist in the doorway; it would be cool if they had sliding doors to separate the spaces). The bar downstairs is lively and fun with amazing cocktails and a few small bite options, and it operates from the backyard yard of the Inn, so be prepared for a bit of noise from that and the street to filter into the room especially on weekends. This bar doubles as the Concord Espresso House that serves amazing espresso drinks and pastries in the morning. The indoor seating is low key elegant, a great spot to sit and start your morning.

We stayed for two nights and didn’t want to leave. This place is full of warmth and charm — creaky wood floors, cozy character, and a view of twinkle lights and fire pits that made evenings feel magical. We felt safe, cared for, and finally able to exhale. The location is unbeatable — steps from incredible restaurants and the best of downtown Wilmington, with easy parking and a personal touch (our door lock was even custom-set for us). The boutique bar downstairs is a gem, and our room was spotless, stylish, and truly comfortable. If you’re looking for a memorable Wilmington stay, don’t overthink it — book here. You’ll thank yourself later.

Historic small hotel on Front Street, convenient to much of this cool historic town. They have a very popular coffee and s’mores bar out in the courtyard. Everyone was super friendly and my experience was smooth and fun.

Loved our stay here in Wilmington nc! Great walk ability to all the shops, restaurants and waterfront. Our room was so beautiful and the bed super comfortable! Love that they have a coffee shop onsite as well! Highly recommend The Front Street Inn! The Staff were so accommodating and friendly! 5 stars!

We stayed in the coastal cottage for 4 nights for our wedding. The staff is so wonderful and helpful! Everyone recognized us and congratulated us and were so accommodating. Thanks everyone for making our weekend even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back and stay with you again.

Best beds, pillows, and whomever does the sheets, the smell, CLEAN! Loved our room, but navigating that bathroom was rough. We have stayed on the second floor, but this was a VIBE! Thank you I loved it soo much. We WILL return.
