La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Winston-Salem

Elizabeth is the only front desk person that has the decency to actually do her job the right way and she is really nice and understanding. She is the only I would deal with. Fridge didn't work. Place smells like weed and cigarettes. Julie is rude and so is the other men that work there. Got charged for shit that we didn't do. Tried to say we stole towels when we returned towels for new ones. And then they tried to say there was a blood stain. It was old so it was there when we got there. I reported tissues being in the vent and a bag over the fire alarm. The rooms are never truly clean. They charge you to much for it to be trashy. We aren't coming back.

Our experience at this hotel was a good one. The only disappointment was we arrived early in town to prepare for the football game. I was informed that there was an additional fee for early check-in, which at other hotels have been waived in the past. We had some other things that we could take care of to kill time until the regular check-in time so we just reversed our schedule before coming back to freshen up to go to the football game. The staff was very friendly and accommodating other than this incident, which apparently was the hotel policy.

Positive: "" Negative: Our carpet was filthy and smelled strongly of dog pee. I would not remove my socks and was afraid all of our clothes were going to smell. I cannot believe I paid what i did for this place.

My son has to be in the hospital pretty regularly and I get a room here each time. It’s affordable and comfortable. There are hotels that are slightly closer to the hospital but I skip right over them because of how much I like it here. The lady at the check-in remembers me each time so it has become like a home away from home. I’ll never stay anywhere else.

I like the hotel at first but when I never received my $100 deposit that’s when things it’s been weeks since I stay here with my family. Not enough breakfast options for me to feel like breakfast room was good and spacious and I would give them better if they didn’t take forever to return my money.

The rooms are nice and clean but the halls smell like cigarettes. We only got two wash cloths and had to pay for more because I washed my face and got mascara on the wash cloth. The lady was very rude about it. Over all we enjoyed our visit.

Staff was great! Very accommodating! Warm in hallways! Bed comfortable and bathroom nice. Normal motel continental breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt but horrible orange juice.
