Yonkers Gateway Motel

I had been a guest at several other hotels in the area, but this one has been my favorite so far. My room was very clean. I had a small fridge, a microwave, flat screen TV, huge bed, built in desk and a huge mirror above the bed with red lighting~~Very Romantic!! The front desk lady was very quick&efficient with check in. The cleaning staff were friendly and attentive to my needs, but not overly so. There were smoking and non~smoking rooms. There are vending machines and a coffee machine in the lobby for 50c. Thank you Yonkers~Gateway MoteL for the nice MemoriaL Day weekend get away!!! Patty

24/7 hrs of security on property, cute rooms with adorable red LED lights, flat screen tv, rooms are $150.00 plus a $5.00 deposit and they accept CASH!! Very clean, staff are very polite and respectful. Feels very home-like and safe! Definitely worth the money and 100% recommend visiting!

First time in NY. Nice and clean. Management was very good. Good area, walking distance to stores.. etc.

I've stayed overnight plenty of times and the rooms are a little small but besides that it's exactly what you pay for if you want a place to rest relax smoke have some adult fun then this place is perfect u pay 5 bucks for the remote but you get it back at checkout its $150 from 12 am to 11am and $20 an hour for any more time added. You Can't Go Wrong If It's Just For Fun.

If you know what’s good for you stay away. I found 2 used condoms behind the dresser. It was disgusting. This was a family stay, and after alerting the front desk, they said they can’t do anything because we were already in the room 😐. The blankets and sheets have holes. Many of the rooms I viewed before had low and lumpy beds along with flattened pillows so we requested another room with better pillows. The motel itself is good for a one night stay and there were no bugs that crawled in. Also a side note, someone died in this motel a few years ago so if you’re not comfortable with that don’t stay here. I had no idea until I was about to check out. I wish I had more pics to show.

I stayed there for 1night and this place has very bad reviews and no wonder why. This place is a dump. There is bedbugs in the room and the pillows are flat and the bedding has wholes in it. The towels are so old that they are falling apart. They only give you two little bars of soap. The front desk people are rude and the house keeping people are rude and nasty. They knock on the door just like the police. This stay was for my wedding proposal and it turned out to be the worst experience in a motel stay. I got bitten with bedbugs that I had to go the emergency room. I gave the bill to the emergency room and I had to sew them for the emergency room bill and the ambulance ride.

Honestly was not what I expected.. people make it out to be mad sketchy and dirty. I did not find it to be either. There are housekeepers always around and seem to be there 24 hrs. Rooms were clean for a motel. Front desk was very welcoming. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or personally see any shady things. Even though it seemed to be pretty full was def quiet.
