Best place I’ve been to in my ENTIRE life. I drove all the way from SF to come here and it was SO worth it. The highlight of the 2025 year was coming here with my family. I’ve been here once last year and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this place. The views are immaculate and the water is insanely refreshing. The sunset is spectacular to look at and a great place to take pictures. No joke, this place is my dream proposal spot. The BEST place to take pics and film thirst traps, ur pics and vids will be 10/10 content cuz of the view even if ur chopped. Would totally recommend coming here if ur in Cali. A beautiful place to sit, enjoy views, and people watch. I love walking around the rocks looking at the marine life, specially during low tide. Parking can be tricky so just be patient and wait in a spot. Restrooms are plenty and kept clean. Nice areas for swimming or walking on the water. Beautiful views.

Hessler Park: This park is situated on the steep cliffs along the coast, specifically the Cliffs Drive, from Aster Street to Divers Bay, California. It stretches for approximately 1,200 meters along Cliffs Drive, offering trails and viewpoints. Lagoon Beach and the Pacific Ocean are visible. Various palm trees characterize the park's landscape. Stairs lead down to the narrow sandy beaches at the foot of the cliffs. At the park's eastern exit, the town center and main beach are accessible via a driveway. The park features walking trails, gardens, a marine reserve with tide pools, picnic tables, barbecue areas, and bowling alleys. The park includes an observation deck and seating areas. Monument Point. Monument Point is a small peninsula located in the center of the park. The park also offers restrooms, terraces, beautiful coastal views, tourist river beaches, green spaces, scenic lawns, picnic areas, accessible roads, parking, beaches, rocky areas, sunny skies, and steel whale watching. Concrete and stone views, a viewing platform, and drainage, irrigation, and lighting systems. Hessler Park's beach is surrounded by cliffs on the landward side. At low tide, one can walk among the rocks and observe small marine creatures in the tide pools. The promenade beach is approximately 200 meters long and lies below the cliffs in the western part of the park. The narrow sandy beach is used for sunbathing. Surfers and divers frequent the coast. Sea anemones and various types of shellfish live in the tide pools.

Loved this park. Plenty of sitting areas and bathrooms. Nice relaxing afternoon. You can sit up at the top or walk down and be in the sand and ocean. Pay for parking but lots of spots.

Great views and walking trails. If you don't enjoy crowded conditions or slicing and dicing for parking, weekday mornings off peak season are advised. The Laguna Beach parking app is super easy to use and rates are reasonable. Easy walking to restaurants and services nearby as well as beach access.
