The Batman (Rosario S. Cassata)

Highway is a restaurant in East Hampton that draws inspiration from a fusion style cuisine. The menu features a diverse selection of options including appetizers, salads, pastas, and several classic dishes along with side items. Be sure to sample the wonton soup and the stir fry. The service was exemplary. The establishment boasts a contemporary style with a bar area equipped with a television. It is convenient that the restaurant remains open throughout the year. Parking is readily available.

Highway is a pretty chill, low key spot in East Hampton if you want to grab a drink or a bite to eat. It’s also easy to get to and find, as it’s right off the Montauk Highway. The staff, especially Fred, were very friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back for another Sapporo and the amazing atmosphere.

Chef Justin Finney and his entire culinary team are unquestionably one of the finest in the Hamptons, continuously executing a beautifully diverse & delicious menu. Peter, Rosa, Freddie, Arturo, Julian and many more dedicated hospitality professionals on the service team consistently deliver exceptional, Michelin caliber service out front that mirrors the passion for great, locally sourced cuisine delivered daily by Finney & team. The best of what’s around.

Cozy and relaxing decor with fresh New American cuisine. We came here for brunch and loved the daily frittata, spinach and herb omelets and the amazing burger. Service and the team were superb and look forward to coming back for dinner or more dishes.

The manager showcased a masterclass in bad service with her "my way or the Highway" attitude, which is a shame because food was fantastic. The manager cleared the paper table cloth unannounced and we all scrambled to pick up everything off the table. The candle knocked over onto one of our party in the process and got hot wax on their hand. To their defense they brought us some first aid supplies, but when we complained about how ridiculous what happened was the manager got defensive and said that is what they always do… we won’t be coming back.

TEAM EXCEL

As I have previously said this isn’t just a typical restaurant. It’s a home away from home. Aside from the most amazing food, it’s all about the special people with the ultimate bartender, friendly with a huge smile of Fred to the professional servers like Teddy to the gatekeeper Amy at the reservations and of course, rounded out by the ultimate captain of the ship Rosa who just runs the most amazing establishment That you will leave smiling, enjoying and figuring out when you can come back. Hands-down, the best place in the Hamptons it’s just unfortunate. We’re about to enter the height of the season when things are about to get a little bit crazy so don’t hold it against them. They do their very best to accommodate everyone the best they can R Stone
