Hôtel Gaythering

I was told this Hotel is the greatest for gay experience, it really was, Gaythering had it all together, the bedroom was 5 stars with a huge and confortable bed. The bar is small but I loved it since is perfect to meet new people with very good prices on their drinks (cheaper than Twist). Me and my husband had a lot of fun inside the sauna with people from all around the world, I was naughty with a guy from Italy, Colombia, Domenican Rp and Venezuela the same night.... it was awesome!!! First, if you are expecting a high end Miami Beach experience, such as you might find at the Ritz Carlton, this place is not for you. Also, as you can tell by the name of the hotel, it caters to a very specific demographic, and if you identify as part of that demographic, you will have a great time (of course, if you do not, you will be welcomed as well). The desk clerk at check in was friendly, and was able to answer questions about the property and amenities. I booked what is known as a "crate" room. These rooms do not have fully enclosed walls, so you will be able to hear your neighbors, also you share the bathroom with four other units. However, everyone was respectful of others. The room has the decor of a construction site, with the walls and furniture being made of lacquered plywood. However, it had a quality bed and mattress. They even used the Igloo coolers similar to what construction workers take their lunch in as ice buckets. They have a bar and "gay sauna" which is open to non-guests as well, both of which were fun. They offer a continental breakfast consisting of pancakes, hard boiled eggs, and smoked salmon. The property is about a mile walk from the beach. Of note, parking (which has a fee) is a couple blocks away in a parking garage, however guests of the hotel get a substantial discount compared to the drive-in rate. Also, don't rely on a GPS to find the property/parking garage, for at least when I visited, there was construction nearby, which caused the mains street to the property to be detoured.

The Hotel Gaythering is a great hotel to stay at. The rooms are well appointed with everything you will need. The beds are big and comfortable and the free breakfast is always appreciated. The highlight of our stay was the in-room massage booked with Alejandro as recommend by the front desk. Alejandro brings his own table and has magical hands He is always checking in to make sure the pressure is right (I love a good deep tissue massage!). I am already looking forward to our next stay at this property and booking another appointment with Alejandro

The staff was very helpful and friendly, across the board. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and the room was well stocked. The tv was not connected to any services or input. The amenities were faultless and very enjoyable. I had a great time and hope to return soon.

I stayed at The Gathering on my trip out to Miami in September and had such a wonderful experience. The hotel was welcoming, comfortable, and everything I hoped for… fun and exciting ! • What truly stood out was the incredible service. Yari at the front desk was exceptional—attentive, helpful, and always available whenever I needed assistance throughout my entire stay. Thanks to him and the rest of the staff, my stay was seamless and enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to coming back! ✨

I had a nice stay at The Gaythering! The atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and the overall vibe of the hotel is unique and charming. The staff were friendly and the community-focused environment is definitely a highlight. That said, the biggest issue during my stay was the air conditioning. Each room has a portable AC unit in the window, but unfortunately it just doesn’t cool the room down enough. I spoke with a couple of neighbors and they mentioned experiencing the same thing in their rooms. It wasn’t unbearable, but definitely made my stay less comfortable than it could have been, especially in the Miami heat. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay and appreciate the character of the hotel, but I do hope management upgrades the cooling system. It would make the experience so much better.

This was my first trip solo in a long time. By the end of the first night, I had met so many wonderful friends and the staff made me feel so welcomed! Especially Hansel from the bar… such a sweetheart and professional! I will definitely be back!
