Hotel Maya

We chose this hotel based on the proximity to the cruise we are getting on, and I can definitely say Hotel Maya is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel itself is very nice and set in a beautiful location, and our room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. What truly stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming. They went out of their way to be accommodating to my children, which made our experience even better. We felt genuinely cared for during our visit. Next time we’re in the area, we will absolutely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel last night. Great view from our room (building 4 Room 504). Was awesome to have the slider open for fresh air. Fuego was great for dinner. Food was . Our wait person, Laura, made it extra special. Will definitely make it our go to place to stay in Long Beach.

Our room overlooked the harbor and was breathtaking at night with the Queen Mary in the background. I'd 100% book again, especially one of the newly renovated rooms. The young lady at the reception desk was very polite and gave some good tips on what to do in the area. We had bikes we brought with us and she shared some pointers on where to go. Made our day! Maya Hotel – Long Beach Wedding Venue Review The Maya Hotel in Long Beach is easily one of the most stunning waterfront wedding venues in the city. My friends were recently married here, and the entire day was beautiful from start to finish. The ceremony setup overlooking the water was breathtaking, the décor flowed perfectly, and it made for the most romantic wedding atmosphere. The catering was awesome and the hors d’oeuvres were phenomenal — truly some of the best I’ve had at a wedding. The drinks were amazing, the bartenders were fun and professional, and the staff was incredibly attentive all evening. Another huge plus is the convenience of having the ceremony and reception right next door to each other, which made everything seamless for guests and the couple. This isn’t the first wedding I’ve attended at the Maya Hotel, and it definitely won’t be the last. Every event I’ve experienced here has been organized, elegant, and memorable. As Ms. Long Beach and a local Real Estate professional, I’m always exploring the best locations across the city. The Maya Hotel continues to stand out as one of the top Long Beach wedding venues. Stayed here the night before my cruise. It was a great location. It has a resort like feel with the separate buildings broken off from the main check-in area, I enjoyed the esthetics of the room and it was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is almost perfect. Could use a little CLR on thr shower head to clean off some build-up there. Great products provided. The staff was very helpful. Had breakfast in Fuego their on-site restaurant. It was very well prepared and tasty. Was able to quickly get an Uber to the world cruise center, which is about 15-20 mins away.

Hosted a mastermind and spent two days here before a cruise. Love everything. Staff went above and beyond, multiple times. Food was spectacular, adores the poke tacos. Meeting space exceeded my high expectations. Great room for 40, boardroom style and outside patio for masterminds. Everyone raved! Even a spectacular pool with 6am open times!! I’ll be back and run an event again here.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Maya! I have been reading the reviews before I left and they were mixed, however, in reality, everything was wonderful! When we checked in at 10PM, we noticed that our room safe was not operational. We talked to the front desk and they sent a repairman within 10 minutes! The room itself was a bit dated but very nice! (They are updating the hotel section by section) It was also surprisingly quiet. We had people knocking and we couldn't hear it. In terms of the facilities: We used the bar right off the bat as well as for morning cappuccinos and the bartender was amazing and very attentive! We also had a few meals in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the services was quick and attentive. The hotel also has a wonderful pool and hot tub, which was a lovely touch. All in all, where possible, I will be trying to stay at Hotel Maya again!
