I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our current stay at the Hyatt Place Hoover. We are now on the third night of a three-night stay, and the level of service and overall guest experience has been unacceptable. Since the night we arrived, we have not had towels replenished. For a room with three guests, we were initially provided only two towels, and despite multiple requests over the past three days, we have not received any additional towels or washcloths. The only items we have been provided during this time are bath mats. We also have not seen housekeeping at all during our stay. We are in town for a volleyball event, traveling with an athlete who needs to be able to shower and recover properly after long competition days. Not having basic necessities such as towels and washcloths for the entirety of our stay is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. In addition to housekeeping issues, there have been ongoing noise disturbances and issues with other guests, particularly during evening and overnight hours. We have raised these concerns, but there appears to be a lack of security or support available to address them, which has significantly impacted our ability to rest and feel comfortable during our stay. We also experienced issues accessing drinks, as those available were all warm, further contributing to the overall poor experience. I want to note that the front desk staff has been polite and professional, but it is clear they do not have the resources, staffing, or support necessary to adequately meet guest needs or resolve ongoing issues. This places them in an unfair position and leaves guests without solutions. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. We have stayed at this property many times in the past and have always had positive experiences, which makes this visit especially concerning. This is, without question, the worst service we have encountered at this location

I’m pretty sure that Hyatt standards call for fresh towels daily…but it didn’t happen for 3 days in a row. The room was vacant from 11-4 daily but housekeeping didn’t freshen the room one time. On day three I stopped at the desk at 10 and asked to make sure the room was refreshed. Tried to pick up some from the front desk tonight but none were available. She gave me bath mats instead. Front desk staff is the only person on site and she was juggling arriving guests & phones. The lobby restrooms…no toilet paper, no paper towels. Night security? Nope. A college track team woke me at 2:30 with cursing & loud voices. The lobby "refrigerated" drink container wasn’t refrigerated..it clearly doesn’t work. We’ve stayed here two weekends a year the past few years and never encountered this level of poor service. The front desk staff is friendly but clearly overwhelmed with minimal support. This is an ownership or management problem.

I was in town for a wedding and stayed at this location. I was so excited to be bring my daughter and granddaughter to a 3 star hotel for the weekend. The lady at the desk was amazing. She had us checked in in minutes and up to our room we went. Well my bubble was popped as soon as we walked in the room. It smelled like an old cellar. The carpet was disgusting, there were little black curly hairs all over the shower, the floor in the bathroom was dirty. There were 3 of us staying yet we had two towels and one wash clothes. I called for more and was told they would be right there. We had to go to the rehearsal dinner and came back to the room and still no towels. I had to call again. When they brought up the towels and sheets for the pull out bed, the sheets and blanket were either stained or had holes in them. I went to wash my face and could have pulled the faucet right out of the sink. A sink that didn’t drain. There was a dog barking all day Saturday. But the real kicker was the roaches we found the day we were leaving. I went down to talk to someone about a refund and the woman just about laughed at me. My son and his family were in another room just down the hall and said their refrigerator and microwave didn’t work. Neither did their coffee pot. The alarm clock was set on the floor and he said there wasn’t anywhere to plug it in. I feel like I paid good money for this weekend that was a joyous occasion but the room was not worth what I paid. Oh and the pool was green and couldn’t be used. I DO NOT recommend this location. Rooms 214 and 222.

Hyatt might need to take a hard look at this franchise. It might be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s dirty…. Carpet, walls, hallways. A dead roach in the sink. Live bugs in the bathroom. The beds appeared clean. I feel for the cleaning crews. It’s an impossible job to get these rooms looking acceptable. The best thing was the nice lady that checked us in.

Hotel was nice but room wasn't too clean. Floor was super sticky and sofa bed was very dirty. Full of little hairs and dirt and mattress was very lumpy. I took some pics but they don't show how dirty it really was. Employees were nice. Breakfast was great. Nice hotel just needs better cleaning.

Disappointing property. Used points to book the room. Room 414 was a good size and it was very clean. The bed mattress should be replaced. The body wash pump was broken. The low toilet should be replaced with a comfort height unit. The sink stopper was stuck closed, though it gradually emptied. The couch was excruciatingly uncomfortable!!! There was a desk with à lamp & a desk chair. The room was large enough that it should have had another (read comfortable) chair.|The main issue was the noise from the elevator pulleys that went on àll night!|The breakfast was abysmal! Under-cooked scrambled eggs & tough sausage. Only 2 types of bread. They were out of butter ànd creamer. Instead of oatmeal they had runny grits. No other cereal options. Only cranberry juice. The worst Hyatt Place breakfast we have ever encountered!|The "bar" only had beverages in the evening - none of the snacks shown on the website.

Rates on top 10 of the most disgusting hotels I’ve stayed in. Holes in the carpets in the room. Looks like the bed linen wasn’t changed. Couch stained, hot water came out brown and the list goes on. I highly recommend you stay here unless you are ok with a dirty, poorly maintained property. This is coming from someone who spent nearly two years in Hyatt hotels. Avoid at all cost!
