My friends and I came across kill your idol randomly. Music was poppin. Old school hip hop. Vibes were cool. Eric the Bar tender was awesome. Drinks were so good and great hospitality. Great night! Fried Oreos and wings were amazing!
EDIT: The "warden" is gone! We went back on Halloween to hang out, and the great vibes are vibing again! A huge THANK YOU to Monch, who always makes sure we have a great experience. Changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars because it made me so happy to see all the happy employees, which of course translates to happy customers! Great job! I’ve regularly attended this bar for the last few years because the atmosphere was always great, the live music was usually awesome, and the staff was always incredible. Recently, however, the vibe has been off. The excitement has been sucked from the souls of the staff. There has been much less live music, and the food options have been severely limited so I don’t even eat there anymore. They might as well just get rid of the food altogether so people can at least smoke inside again. I went for Colossal Karaoke last night (as advertised) and, instead of karaoke, there was a live band. Highly disappointing. And honestly, the band probably could have sounded good - but they sounded awful because nobody was monitoring the sound levels. None of the staff even knew the band would be there. The new GM walks around like a warden, and has fired almost everyone who made this place as great as it was. Under her guidance, I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose all of their regular customers. And let’s be honest… it’s not tourism that’s kept this place alive for 13 years. This is a locals spot, but they don’t seem to want the locals there anymore either.
in a sea of the same old bars in miami, this place was exactly what I looking for as an out of towner. made me feel very comfortable as an alt person and very cool/funky decor. affordable strong drinks- shout out to Eric the bartender for playing the best warped tour throwbacks the whole time I had a great birthday evening here
I really went there for a show. Honestly, a weird place to hold a concert just because it’s a bit tight. Fortunately the place was not super packed so we weren’t crammed in there like sardines. I can imagine a night that people know the band. It might not be as tolerable as the night I went. Otherwise the service is great. Good beer. Don’t know if they serve food. Seems like a good place otherwise
Great bar with a lively night crowd, good music selection as well that varies night to night.
It's a fun dive bar with pool tables, arcade games, and big TVs for the games. Reasonably priced drinks. And one side has more of a club lounge type vibe. Definitely a place to be casual let you hair down and relax with friends.
We had such a great time! They had some great rock bands, and the place was packed. It was such a good vibe. The bartenders were fabulous. The drinks were delicious. They were pricey, but that's the norm on Miami Beach. Parking can be a challenge, but we will definitely be back!
