Kobalt

I had not been here since the move from the old location (moved out of state). The bar was well done. Inside was stylish, and a great outside area as well. The woman bartender was friendly and chatty. If I lived here I would make this a regular place to visit! On a Thursday around 4, the bar was quiet but guys were starting to come in. I'll have to make it back this trip at a busier time to feel the vibes when it's more crowded!

I went to Kobalt on 01/24/26 to see one of the most popular all-female bands in Phoenix: Femme Shui. They have played Kobalt several times and have always packed the place, inside and out. This day was no different. The major difference was, they had two bartenders on staff. TWO. No barback, no waitstaff, TWO bartenders. The inside and outside spaces were completely packed, with no empty chairs to be found, so that's.... 200-300 people? The funny thing is there is an outside bar that was not utilized. 20-minute wait for a drink. Lots of people left because the drink line ran out the door and almost out to the parking lot. To be fair, Femme Shui has outgrown this place, since there really isn't enough seating or standing room for the sheer volume of fanatics who follow them (me included), but still. Management: This wasn't your first rodeo. Major fail. Why did you allow this to happen, knowing the amount of folks this band draws every single time? You know you can do better.

Cobalt is truly a place you can go, socialize, drink and have a blast with no judgemental people, everyone is accepting and social. Me being an Ali love going and appreciate the entertainment, staff and patrons. Great job, would love to talk to the owners about bringing my food trailer there on event nights.

I came here to celebrate the birth of my son with my bestie. We had such an amazing time. The atmosphere was incredible and safe. Bartenders were amazing. My friend did have a bit too much to drink and 2 employees helped me get her to my car safely. I am so grateful for their help. I highly recommend this bar due to their caring nature and the vibes are amazing! Plus the queens performing were absolutely fabulous

Had the most amazing time on a Thursday for Cirque du so Trey! The space is really nice with indoor and outdoor options .. and the cocktails were good and inexpensive

the most amazing drag bar here in AZ!! absolutely love all the performers here and it’s so great being able to enjoy the local scene. SALEM IS THE #1!! the cover to get in ranges from like $5-$15 usually depending on how big the artist is that’s performing! the staff is friendly and the drinks are super cheap. we got two drinks for $16!

I’ve been coming to this bar for a while because it feels like a community spot. A place to unwind, connect, and have fun. But tonight was honestly disappointing. The bartender on shift was incredibly rude for no reason. My friend was enjoying the karaoke cheering, having fun like everyone else and he told her to be quiet. Literally came up to her and told her to be white she’s being loud. Seriously? It’s karaoke. It’s a bar. It’s supposed to be loud and lively. If you don’t want people to enjoy themselves, why host karaoke in the first place? This isn’t just a business it’s part of our neighborhood. We need places like this to feel welcoming. We need community, especially now. And when we show up, spend our money, and bring good energy, we shouldn’t be met with attitude or disrespect. Do better.
