Though the attendant was a dogdes fab the service and atmosphere was top notch what a awesome place .. couldn't have had a better experience
It was affordable and fun. The lanes are clean. This is a great place for kids. They have bumpers on the lanes when it is there turn, accompanied by lightweight balls and rolling guides. The scoreboards are amusing with cartoon graphics when significant scores occur. But it is also right for adults. I recommend for families.
This is another one of those places to have that old school bowling experience. There are very few of these places, and they are a true treasure just to experience the smell of games whether it’s bowling pool, the bar or the arcade. The coffee shop is a classic and truly a nice place not to mention the friendly people who work here
One of La Habras last standing landmarks. The best times to go on the weekend are before 3pm. There's usually no waiting time for a lane the earlier the better. You have to get there before 3pm because league play comes in and can cut your playing time short if you dont.. The lanes are nice and taken care of with some days low oil and others more. If you don't have your own ball there's never a shortage of standard bowling alley balls color coded to weight and ranging in weight from 8lbs. to 15lbs. Sometimes you can get an edge and lucky with finding a custom ball that someone left behind. They offer games by the hour or by the individual game. They have shoe rentals that have been sprayed with disinfectant to prevent that athletes foot. The majority of the shoes are nice while others have been used and abused. The good thing is if you get a trash pair they will exchange them for a better pair. Sometimes there is a lack of bowling etiquette, but that's everywhere you go, with people not waiting their turn in the lane next to you. They serve good restaurant style food at the restaurant attached and there's also a bar located in the middle for alcoholic drinks. Behind the lanes and above the ball racks are bar tops where you can place your food and drinks. This is nice for when it becomes your turn nobody has to wait for you to stuff your face and bowl. They have birthday party specials for the kids, bumpers on the lanes preventing gutter balls, and an arcade with video games, pinball games, and prize winning games. There is a pro shop that offers bowling balls, shoes, hole drilling and other bowling items. The shop hours are strange and I think on the days and times they are open you still have to call to let them know you want service. They allow outside food and drinks which is nice with Little Caesars across the street. People behind the counter are always nice to assist you with whatever. That offer league play all through the week and weekends and bowling classes if you need help. The bathrooms are always good and respectable with clean floors, toilets, and walls. There has always been toilet paper and paper towels to dry your hands and that says a lot about a place. Always a good time as long as your on your game.
This bowling alley is great, not the best of the best. It is convenient for my friend and I to have a nice place to bowl. The staff are chill and friendly. It has 32 lanes, always clean and ready to use (especially after leagues used them). The cafe next to it has exceptional food. Bar area seems a bit dry besides on Saturday nights. Overall, we'd still come out to this place.
I went here with a couple of people a day ago. The place was really nice and it had cool music. My favorite part was hearing the doo wop songs. I also liked seeing the arrows on the floor. It also had friendly customer service.
I've been bringing my clients here and the staff are very nice to us, including other programs. When one of my clients accidentally left behind his scarf earlier today, I eventually asked over the phone if it was still there. I included what lane we were using and what time we were there (within 11:00 AM). The guy over the phone didn't really sound nice and claimed he looked "everywhere" with no sign of my client's scarf. My director insisted I go back quickly and look for it myself because I was told that specific worker has a negative reputation. With no questions, I raced back inside and found the scarf behind the seats where my clients were playing the game. My client was super relieved when I brought it back to him and immediately held it around as his security blanket. Whoever answered my phone call should really think twice before assuming he couldn't find a lost item.
