The Chicken Koop

A good place on Main Street in downtown Alhambra, with multiple tv and a projector onsite, alcohol beverages reasonable prices, fairly good chicken dishes, easy parking. A good sports bar in Alhambra.

This place has gone through several iterations since I've moved out of the area, but I hope this place sticks around! The food is pretty good! Service is wonderful! Can't beat it!

I came on Sunday for the first time, the atmosphere is pretty cool and the service was excellent but the food was just ok, we got the roasted chicken, chicken tacos and chicken tenders, nothing special.

This place Clucks! Literally haven't stopped thinking about this chicken sandwich since I went. Go for the 'sidechick' no ragrets.

Amazing food! Amazing drinks! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing staff! and Amazing prices!! Was a must do in our most recent visit to LA after getting Instagram mouth watering Mexican style food with a twist posts. Loved it and highly recommend to anyone visiting the surrounding areas, worth the drive out of Downtown LA.

First time trying the chicken koop, and we came for happy hour. The michelada was pretty good, and so were the other drinks, and the prices were fair with quick and friendly service. The nachos hit the spot and were decently portioned, but keep on mind they are wonton chips, not tortilla chips. The tacos were also good, and so were the flautas. The atmosphere is good with high energy vibes, so I definitely recommend giving them a try.

We got seated quickly. It was difficult to open up the menu on the phone. We ordered hibiscus margaritas and Cadillac margarita. We tight they were weak. We ordered classic margaritas, and they were much better. Nachos were delicious. Roasted chicken was flavorful. Friends ordered sliders and chicken waffle sandwich.
