Harry is an incredible bartender who truly made our night! From the moment we sat down, he was warm, funny, and genuinely personable, taking the time to chat with us and make great recommendations. Every cocktail he crafted was delicious, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with skill and care. You can tell he loves what he does because the energy at the bar was fantastic the entire time. If you’re lucky enough to catch Harry behind the bar, you’re guaranteed amazing drinks and an even better experience!

When/if/because you are in downtown Asheville and you need a beautifully crafted cocktail, do yourself the favor of stopping in to Farmese. You’re immediately welcomed by a space full of classy, modern, warm design with friendly, comfortable vibes. Despite being 6 months new, it feels like a familiar local spot that could have been there for years. The friendly service, creative drink menu, and delicious cocktails will make you glad you’re there and happy to stay. We will gladly be back; you should go.

The atmosphere here is very intimate with a classy club like vibes. The bartenders, especially Laila, know how to make crafty drinks. She puts her knowledge and talent into the magnificent drinks she pours for her customers. If you’re looking for a comfortable couch vibe, this is the place to go. Don’t be deterred that it’s downstairs. Everything you want and more.

If you're a cocktail enthusiast, you definitely should give this place a try. Great cocktails, great atmosphere, and the bartenders were fantastic. Shout-out to Victor for making us an incredible off-menu drink just because we asked about the mezcal!

Not for dancing. Came here for the first time to have a drink and enjoy some dancing. Unfortunately, the DJ was playing music that was not fit for dancing (no one on the dance floor). The beat was way too fast, and he played the same beat for the full 90 minutes we were there. He never once rotated the music to try to find something people might dance to. I think he sorted his list of music by Beats Per Minute, and never once deviated from the first song he chose. Outside of that, the atmosphere is great for a cocktail, and the bartenders were nice and attentive. We're more interested in dancing instead of drinking, so I'm not sure we'll return.

Four of us went last night and although there were only 4 other people there, the annoyed bartender couldn’t shoo us out fast enough. That was of course after he ignored us for…ever. He was rude, unprofessional and less than accepting of our questions. His sigh and point act when asked what tequila they had should’ve been an indicator of things to come. People who came in after us were told it’d be an hour wait to get their drinks and told they’d be better off just leaving. If he’s the owner he should take a customer service course or at the very least some business training…if he’s not the owner, he should be unemployed!
