Dark 30 Wine Bar on 30th Street is hands down my absolute favorite spot in Baton Rouge. If you are looking for a grown and sexy environment, this is it. And when I say grown and sexy, I am talking mindset. From the moment you are old enough to enjoy your first legal drink, all the way up to sixty and beyond, this bar has something to offer for everybody who appreciates good energy, good music, and a mature atmosphere. One thing you never have to worry about here is an overcrowded room full of kids in their young 20s jumping off the wall. Security at the front door is on point, making sure no one under 21 slips in, and they do their job while still being respectful and friendly. Inside, the vibes are consistently great. On the weekends there is a DJ, and the music is exactly what you want to hear when you are trying to relax, enjoy yourself, or set the tone for a night out. It is not the typical Baton Rouge nightlife scene, and that is one of the reasons it stands out. The bartenders are experienced, professional, and genuinely talented. They make excellent cocktails, and the wine selection is beautifully curated. You will find local brands, small batch wines, and a strong presence of black owned wine labels that you do not see in many other places around the city. The ambiance is always low lit, warm, and comfortable. It is never too hot inside, which I personally appreciate because sweating while trying to enjoy a drink is not my idea of a good time. There is also an outdoor sitting area that feels perfect on cooler nights, a relaxed extension of the vibe inside. Overall, Dark 30 Wine Bar delivers every single time. Great music, great drinks, great energy, and a mature crowd. If you have not been yet, you are definitely missing out.

What an awesome find in downtown BR! This is a wonderful wine bar with a well thought out, unique wine selection. I've been waiting for a place like this to exist in my hometown. It was busy on this Sunday evening but the bartenders acknowledged me when I sat down and I was served as soon as they were able to get to me. I can't wait to go back and have a wine flight!

OVERPRICED and RUDE!!! I came here with a friend. I looked at the menu and saw a Maison Madeline brut champagne that was listed in the menu as $9 a glass. One of the bartenders kept passing me not asking if I needed anything. After 5 minutes I finally asked to order a drink. I’m paying for my drink and notice they charged me $12 before tip and taxes. I told the bartender that menu stated $9 and she just looked at me and said: "well the menu is wrong and it’ll be $12". That’s crazy. I’ll never come back. My other friend ordered a lemon drop which was $19 before taxes ($14 for vodka and $5 to make it a lemon drop). That’s ridiculous.

The drinks are always on point. The vibe is there and for the most part, the DJ plays good throwbacks.

Definitely a chilled spot to go have a drink . Bartender was thick and country ( her accent) from Franklinton ms . Visited on a Sunday night was a lil slow. Usually a lot busier per bartender and typically karaoke on Sunday night. Had an old fashioned ..

I’ve been during the week and on a Saturday. During the week it is a very nice chill bar and the staff help you out really quickly. Over the weekend there is a lot of people and good music. We did need to wait a couple minutes to get our drink order in on Saturday but considering how crowded the building was it was a decent amount of wait time
