Rude staff, rude customers, horrible service. Bartender apparently couldn't be bothered serving anyone they didn't know already. Took forever just to get 2 drinks in the 2 hours I was there. On top of it all another patron who appeared to be a regular or possibly friends with the bartender was was practically bullying strangers like she was in highschool with snarky remarks and rude comments making a few people including myself uncomfortable to the point we had to leave. Bartender just ignored it all. I have only been here a few times over the years, and it's kinda the same every night. I only go cause friends want to go, but we all finally decided not to return here again because this scenario happens way too often.

Tautog Tavern is the dive bar of dreams. No food, just cold beer and stiff drinks, because who needs food? The decor screams 'nautical charm' and the regulars are characters. Perfect spot for when you want a drink without the small talk.

Very nice workers and good drinks. I lost my jacket and the workers helped me search for it. I didn’t find it and then a worker took my number down and then walked it to my apartment after the bar closed!

Great food, cocktails and ambience. Will definitely be back. A big step above most pub food. The selection of sliders alone was impressive. We also had the Brussels sprouts and steak and really enjoyed it all. The S.o.b cocktail was perfect. Plenty of parking in back and the staff is great and knows their stuff.

Selective beers, but you can't beat the food... absolutely delicious with incredible chefs. Bartenders are friendly, quick, and know how to have a fun time. Overall, this place is super casual and has a safe and friendly atmosphere for anyone to enjoy.

Horrible vibes from the beardy bartender with the glasses. Witnessed him making a bunch of girls uncomfortable (picking them up when hugging them, hugging them too long and tight despite protests) He was very standoffish with me at the bar, but was definitely excited and happy to touch a bunch of female customers. Total creep.
