The Blind Pig

I live in Carmichael. This place is the gem of all dives. I went here for the first time this last Friday. As a women with big boobs and a pulse, I haven't never felt more comfortable. I literally let my guard down, that's how comfortable I was. My female friend (gorgeous) and I had a blast. I've gone to all the dive bars around me in a 5 mile radius and there is always some drunk man that feels the right to touch me or say something that makes me feel gross. Not here. It's clean and the bartender was on point......🦯🐖💞

Bean here twice and the service is fast and polite. One of the last few dive bars thats not all trendy and full of BS. Want to go somewhere where nobody bothers you and have a few beers and shots, this is the place. Wh cares what everyone else thinks, just come in and have a few.

We hadn't been to the Pig in awhile, but stopped in on Friday to have a drink after dinner. The bartender was so much fun we ended up having a few drinks more! She said her name is Ashley, and she made the night for us. She had good suggestions when my wife wanted to try a new drink, and I loved her taste in music. The other patrons who seemed to know her already were very friendly, too. Definitely going back when she works.

This is sad. We’ve seen this place go through multiple ownerships, and I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. And I am sad to sad to say that I will be never step foot in this place again. I wish I could give this place zero stars. My friend and I came in expecting a good time, but what we got was blatant discrimination. The bartender, Ashley, openly overcharged us while handing out free drinks to Caucasian patrons right in front of us. When we questioned the charges, she was dismissive and rude. It was beyond clear that we were being treated differently because of our race. No one should have to experience this kind of treatment in 2025. If you value fairness, respect, and basic human decency, take your money elsewhere. This bar should be ashamed of the behavior they allow behind the counter.

We had a great time here last week. Ashley was wonderful and treated us very well. She made a point to check on us and we felt very comfortable which is not always the case at a lot of places around here. Chill place with good vibes. I plan to come back.

Absolutely horrid. Staff was insulating & insufferable. Why the bartender was yelling rude comments at ppl walking into the establishment is insanity. Would never recommend this place for any decent human.
