Occasions By Cory - Catering + Venue

I recently had a big birthday party at Occasion’s by Cory’s at their new location on Second Street. It is a beautiful venue and was perfect for the party I threw. From the moment I contacted Chez and Cory they made the process simple and catered to my every want and desire. The food was incredible, I got compliments from everyone in attendance on how much they loved the food and space. The peach prosciutto flatbread was out of this world! The price was very reasonable and paying was a painless process too. They have things down to a science and it made my event so smooth and fun. If you are looking for an intimate venue for any kind of gathering I highly recommend this space and team.

We used Occasions by Cory venue for a reception after a funeral. The food was delicious and the venue was beautiful and perfectly sized. They were so easy to work with and very efficient.

I was invited to a wedding here so I will review it in terms of being a guest. This location is beautiful, inside and out. It is set up perfectly for an intimate wedding or small gathering. They have a well stocked bar with some yummy cocktails. My favorite part was the toiletries bucket they had set up in the women's bathroom (see picture). This was such a nice gesture and so accommodating! I also loved this nook that the Bride and Groom had set up for the kids to play in. The staff were all incredible and super friendly. I enjoyed seeing the owner help out with everything.

Everything from the food to the staff, to the attention to detail, and all the behind the scenes work, Cory's team is absolutely amazing to work with. They provided our wedding guests delicious food and made wedding planning so fun, and our big day so enjoyable. Thanks for all you guys do! We highly recommend using Occasions by Cory for all your catering needs.

They did an amazing job catering for the cancer survivors lunch 8/4/23. They always serve the most delicious food and the service is always amazing. You have a great team and I cannot wait to work with you again!

Was very excited to try the Easter Buffet but it didn’t live up to my expectations. Pros: The staff was pleasant, atmosphere was nice. Nice cheese selection. Bakery items were good. Ranch dressing very tasty. Cons: Most of the hot foods were dry and overcooked and not well seasoned to include eggs, potatoes, ham and prime rib. Disappointing. Drinks were served in a plastic glass and coffee in a paper cup. Not a downside for many just my own personal dislike. Cost for 3 adults and 2 children was just under $200.00 which included a 20% gratuity that was already added to the bill. This was a self serve buffet except for bar service. Definite potential just fell short of my expectations.

We have done business with Occasions By Cory on numerous occasion - both personal and professional - and we are always beyond impressed! The staff is AMAZING, the food SUPERB, and the atmosphere is perfect for any occasion you may have...from a quick drink or bite with a friend, to a formal dining experience, Cory and his staff go out of their way to make sure your vision is brought to the table! We recently held my daughters bridal shower upstairs and, even with the simplicity that she wanted for the event, it was everything she had hoped for and more. I have worked with A LOT of venues in my professional career and this one is, HANDS DOWN THE BEST place and group of people to work with.
