Must Be Nice

Must Be Nice was kind of fun. It was recommended to me by somebody in the area, as I had never heard of it before. It’s a little more upscale than most of the other restaurants in the area, but still serves as a nice cocktail bar with an upbeat vibe and music. I didn’t really like the middle of the restaurant, which was overcrowded and a little difficult to get to the bar, but I did like the corner seating, which was very comfortable and could accommodate a group of 4-8 people. I kind of got the impression that Must Be Nice is a good place for the late 20s to early 30s crowd, rather than the younger 20s crowd that makes up a lot of the area. Overall, I may or may not come back in the future, but it was worth stopping in at least once.

1 of the best spots in the area for GREAT: Music, Drinks, sports and atmosphere! Always a vibe! You have to be a creative genius to dream this spot up that caters to anyone that walks in the door. Sprinkle a staff that gets the job done and voila!

Kierra was our bartender and she’s absolutely amazing. she was very attentive and kind! a couple of us girls came for bingo night on monday and sat at the bar and even though she was very busy with the walk up well she stayed attentive to us! def go for bingo night on mondays we had a blast!!!

My husband and I got married tonight and decided to bring our group to Must Be Nice to keep the celebration going. We thought it’d be a great way for our out-of-state guests to experience a Charlotte favorite, and it was honestly perfect. Orlando and Hershel were incredible. They noticed we were celebrating and surprised us with a bottle of champagne. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our night even more special. The music was great, the patio heaters kept everyone cozy, and the drinks and service were on point. Their espresso martini is one of the best in charlotte!! We’re still talking about how kind and welcoming everyone was. It was the best way to end our wedding day. If you’re in Charlotte, come here for sure, you won’t regret it!

The vibe is consistently on point—fun, high energy, and welcoming. The drinks? Strong in the right way, creative, and served fast. The staff? Super friendly and genuinely make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. But let’s talk about Sunday Funday… nothing in Charlotte even comes close. The energy is unmatched. It’s the kind of place where you tell yourself you’re "just stopping in for one" and end up closing it down. No matter the day, no matter the plan—Must Be Nice is the spot. Period.

Went to Must Be Nice for my birthday celebration and had an amazing time! The vibe was perfect and the staff were great. Loved celebrating with my friends there. Definitely planning to go back!

Kaitlyn is a gem. I love the layout and concept. Kaitlyn was able to make me a Mocktail how I liked it. I had a great time here. Definitely a good place to get cute and come out with the girls. The music is GOOD.
