Soho House Chicago

This was my 3rd stay at the Chicago SoHo house and the best one yet. May greeted us and was always there when we had a question. Peter at the lobby restaurant was an exceptional server. Our large room was truly spectacular with views of the Willis Tower. SoHo house knows how to make travel feel luxurious and welcoming!

My daughter and I Sat at the bar after a day of holiday shopping. Despite it not being busy and bar tenders and servers around, we waited over 10 minutes for anyone to come by to even say hi. It was like we were putting everyone out just to get water and a menu. The bar tender literally stood at the other end of the bar talking to other servers ignoring us and another patron sitting next to us. This was the third time we’ve had horrible service here. Never going back and would not recommend. There are so many amazing places in the West Loop with much better food, atmosphere, and service. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIMR AND MONEY! it’s all a label at this point! No substance.

As a new member of Soho, I’m so enamoured at how beautiful every floor is. The gym is INCREDIBLE. The members lounge and Sunday brunch feast is a vibe. I could hang out for hours and hours by the real wood burning fire in the perfectly curated spaces. Thank you Soho Chicago for the best birthday weekend I could ask for.

I attended afternoon tea at Soho House for a birthday with a group of 15 people and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it. We paid $84 per person and stayed about 2–3 hours, but the value didn’t match the price at all. Each person received a small pot of tea, 2 tiny sandwiches, one macaron, a small slice of pie, and a few very small finger foods. The food quality was disappointing — the macaron was very hard, the bread was overly sour, the salmon portion was extremely thin, and most items tasted average or below average. For $84, I expected much better quality and service. It didn’t feel worth the cost for what was essentially just tea and a few small, underwhelming bites. Nice place to sit and chat, but not good value for money.

Cool spot. Had a relaxing lobby, classy restaurant and a vibey bar/club area that stays open late. Rooftop heated pool and movie theater is sick. Bartender had some great recommendations to continue the night. The phone charger in the lobby area was a life saver.

We stayed with Soho House Sept. 12-14 for our wedding across the street, and we are SO happy that we did! From initial check-in, the Soho team made us feel so welcome, even gifting us a bottle of champagne and sweets upon arrival! The "Big" room was absolutely GORGEOUS, and accommodating my bridal party for wedding glam was a breeze. From room service, to the assortment of bath and personal products, to coffee on the rooftop, the amenities and service were amazing! Thank you to the entire Soho Chicago team for making our wedding weekend so special!
