The best place in town to play pool, grab some AMAZING pub food and a cheap drink! Everyone there is so nice and they just recovered the pool tables. This is a hidden GEM in downtown Chico! Get down to the DownLo!

The chick with the beanie and the braids is either exceptionally rude or just terrible at her job. Difficult to discern. More than once, myself as well as the friends I was with would wait there for 10-15min at a time without even being acknowledged. I understand being busy, but it really wasn't THAT busy and to walk right up to someone next to us who just walked in and still not even say anything to us after waiting for 10+ min... it's pretty rude. And again, I couldn't tell if it was intentional or if she just really isn't cut out for this kind of thing. Regardless, it was so off putting, we won't be returning.

More of a casual place, nothing too fancy, food is OK. Bartenders and staff are usually pretty friendly but They do seem to give better service to their regulars that are there on the daily. Not complaining about that it’s understandable. Usually always pool tables open during the weekdays.

Cool place to chill and play some pool. Every time i’ve been here we easily get a table, so no waiting. The drinks are good, but the food i can’t say because I have never ordered any. The kitchen looks messy and im really picky when it comes to my food and the how it’s being prepared. Cleanliness is HUGE for me. The cook was wearing gloves but was grabbing dirty kitchen rags, pulling up his pants, grabbing pans, cooking utensils, pulling bread out of bags and then handling the food and serving it like that. Nahhhh what’s the purpose of wearing gloves then. It’s a hard pass for me. Aside from that, the bartenders are friendly and quick and its a cool place if you like playing pool and i’m still going back im not gonna lie because i go for the pool and the drinks.

This subterranean neighbor bar and poolhall is one of my Chico favorites. It's not fancy and it's not trying to be. A great hangout spot to people watch, grab a few drinks and some good grub. Pool, darts, music and good service. The food is good. Very well made bar fare. The best corn dogs in town. Bartenders are exactly what you'd expect in a joint like. It's an easy place to be for a casual hangout with friends.

Was taken here for my birthday, it was alright. The food and service were really good, there were hourly tables available, the tables are good. Bring your own cue.

They are so weird I thought I could go sing and have fun they made the most money off me and kept my jacket poor costumer service bad bartender and horrible prices it should be run by honest people but it ain't if u spend money be careful they charged 160 for 9 drinks I had to pee like a dude so urine wouldn't get on my cloths it's dirty and smelly
