Ruby's

I love dive bars, and Ruby's is that in spades. A couple of tvs, a jukebox, and a pool table. The bartenders are great and the regulars will quickly become your friends.

I've been to Ruby's many times over the years - the drinks are always strong and the bartenders pour heavy and make great drinks. However, tonight I had an experience that cancelled out all my previous experiences. I was there with a friend who is a person of color and the bartender was INCREDIBLY rude and had a very low tolerance for our happy conversations with the other bar goers. Clovis will soon be in trouble for not adjusting for the growing demographics in our area, and I see this bar being one of the first to go. I hope the owner Rocky has some tough conversations with his bartenders about ACTUALLY treating ALL patrons as equals in the future.

In my opinion..Ruby's is hands down Clovis' best dive bar ever! Inviting, clean & definitely a bang for your buck when it comes to cost. Monday mornings are a hoot with their regulars!

I didn't know Ruby's sold food. I just stopped by for a few drinks. The bar tender was very friendly and funny service was great and the beer was cold. This is a cool little spot to hang out.

Cool little place to meet different people. Beers are cheap, atmospheres good. It's definitely do for renovations. The flooring is worse for wear.

This place draws in a lot of different types of people, and the service is precise, but I wouldn't recommend trying to stay as it intends on the hours here. Why? Because the only staff member would rather kick everyone out earlier than it should have closed down for the night. Work on your scheduling first before putting it out to the public.
