This Salvation Army thrift store is located on the northeast corner of Villa and Shaw in Clovis. They have furniture, housewares, clothing, and shoes as well as books, movies, and collectibles. They are open 7 days a week. The employees are always pleasant and helpful. It's always fun to visit this store!
I am very disappointed in the customer service at this facility. We arrived at the store at 5:45 to buy a specific item that we knew was in the store and the doors were locked. The two women that were working behind the counter looked at us and shrugged their arms, and then turned their back to us. the store closes at 6 o’clock and my biggest complaint was how rude the women were. Two other customers came a few minutes after we did, and no one would even respond to them.
I always have an amazing experience at this thrift store, but today was exceptionally great. Thank you, Steven, for going above and beyond with me and every single customer I saw you interact with. The Salvation Army is lucky to have such a caring and enthusiastic employee working for them. Keep up the excellent work!
It was pretty nice in their. The staff was nice. The store was spacious though, and it made it feel like there was not enough there or like they could have just put a few more shelves in. It was easy to navigate through. They have a large book collection and it's good if your planning to start a new series or just find something new. They also have a somewhat large selection of clothing. Overall, I think it's a pretty nice place to go. You may not find what you want, but if your looking for interesting little items, new books to read, cheap clothes, than you should be able to find what your looking for.
Clean and well maintained with a nice selection. Staff is great 👍 Prices can be a little steep for donated used items, but I feel all thrift stores seem to be that way now so I can knock them too hard for that.
Horrible customer service. I work in retail and would never treat customers the way I was treated. The cashier with a neck tattoo apparently picks and chooses who she wants to give good customer service to. Idk what was up with the cashier since I hadn’t even interacted with her the whole time up until check out. As I was shopping I heard her checking out other customers and interacting with them. Yet she straight up ignored my bf and didn’t talk to us the whole time she was ringing. Not to mention she was aggressively ringing up the items and tossing them to the side. She had an attitude when telling us the prices of a certain item. There was also a homeless man who came in and was joking with her so I’m assuming they knew each other . He straight up grabbed a shirt off the rack and changed in front of everyone and walked out without any one saying anything. The whole experience was unprofessional. I don’t expect some grand experience but at least basic customer service.
Came in today Nov. 18th and need to give recognition to Steven.. He was so friendly and had such a nice smile to each Customer. His Customer Service was extremely good and it's very hard to find that these day's. Keep up the great work!
