Cavender's Boot City

I stopped in last week to try on a black wool Rancher’s vest. The XL fit a little snug, and they were out of stock on the 2XL. A gentleman approached me and offered to order the 2XL and have it shipped directly to my home, which I really appreciated. Thanks to his help, the vest arrived in just two days. The 2XL fits perfectly and has plenty of pockets. It’s extremely warm when layered with a flannel and an overcoat, and it performed very well during the freezing weather we had this week. The only downside is that a few of the snap buttons don’t fasten properly and tend to pop open with minimal movement while working. I’m currently looking for a remedy for the snap buttons. Overall, I really appreciate the excellent customer service from the young man at the College Station location and his willingness to go the extra mile.

So we asked everyone where do we go to find cowboy boots? Almost everyone suggested Cavenders. They have a lot of stock. And western wear in general. Enjoy.

I go in thinking Black Friday is probably the only time I can actually afford some decent boots. I go in and 2 vultures are standing around in their nicest fits all spiffed up talking about only getting 4-7 boot sales. They do ask if I need help finding anything and I respond "something affordable". I’m then incorrectly quoted a size recommendation that left me embarrassed and struggling to get the boot off I’m a 12R and he recommended a whole size down 11D and he directed me to the clearance section and walked away. Felt like a slap in the face seeing him assist some mom with her son and daughter asking them all the questions, what’s your price range, is there a specific style, what’s the occasion….. growing up I couldn’t get my momma to spend $20 on me, what makes yall think anyone looks forward to drop $230+ with half assed sales and salesman. I’ve honestly never been more embarrassed. Ik I don’t look like the type that belongs in a pair of boots but it meant something to me and this experience sucked.

I spent $600 here last Monday on my way to Amarillo, They forgot to remove the magnet from my clothes so I couldn’t make it through my job site metal detectors. When I finally was able to make it back to the location today, They offered me 10% off an overpriced shirt if I bought more from them. Why would anyone want to do business or give business to people who don’t care about how much time they waste for other people. I asked for a cheap $30 shirt for me losing 10 hours of drive time and spending $600 and they said no thanks you can just spend more money here. You probably shouldn’t order online if they don’t care to strip the magnets or your time wasted

Went in for a western outfit for a wedding, Brian was very helpful and friendly. From the selection of clothing to the atmosphere is was an all great experience I’ll definitely be back thanks Brian
