Commanders Cove

The bartender at shot bar scammed me. My card bounced so I paid her in cash (it was $10) and when I looked at my transactions this morning it shows that she charged my card 6 times and it amounted to 32.5 dollars that it took from my checking account. So all in all i ended up having to pay 42 bucks for 10$ worth of shots. don’t go here, and definitely don’t give them your card.

Awesome place with great vibes and incredible music. DJ Liz is the absolute best. Always gotta come here when she’s playing. She keeps the good vibes flowing!!

I went here in the evening and I gotta say their DJ's and shots are great. Love the music and beats. The bartenders are nice and on Wednesday they had a drag show. It's always a good time coming here.

Really enjoyed my night here! The atmosphere is in stark contrast to the rest of Northgate, really giving the vibe of a dive in either Houston or Dallas. The DJ's on deck were amazing; really know how to keep the night going. They started the night off with a good mix of 90's, 2000's and house music and then pumped it up by the end of the night. Price of drinks weren't bad at all either. The staff was extremely friendly, and even checked in with me and my friends periodically to see if we were doing alright or needed a refill on our drinks. I will definitely be coming back to spend the night here!

This bar should be packed all the time! It is situated outside with a very tropical theme. The drinks are great and they typically have a DJ or live musician. One of my favorite places on NG!

The shot bar next to commanders cove is horrible. The bartender Isabelle Aransas or whatever her name is overcharged us completely and came up with some excuse over why she did it (blaming tax). Our shots were supposed to come out to around $10 (2 $3 shots and 1 $4 shot) and she charged us around $20. Never come here or never go to her.

Not much of a Northgate guy, but this bar is my favorite of the ones I've been to. Relaxed atmosphere, nice bartenders, and a food truck! The mule I had was fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by.
