Shame & Regret

Came in with a friend for a drink and to catch up. The ambiance has always been wonderful here. Love the theming and moodiness without being too dark. Really sets the tone. Our server was pleasant and not too overbearing,. She checked in with us but wasn't super pushy, which I appreciated. I ordered the Dad Bod drink. I love matcha and seeing a matcha infused cocktail was so cool, but there was something bitter in the cocktail that didn't sit well with me. My friend ordered the Scout Master Kevin. I thought the presentation was a bit odd and he liked the drink and that's what matters!

Really wanted to like this place. They love their bitters, so expect for it to be included it EVERY DRINK. The sweet potato champagne drink would be favorably enjoyed in November around Thanksgiving. But the sweet tea bourbon was absolutely perfect and paired well in Coke. Overall, unclear on the confessional box and think that the team could play into the pastor/Father and Nun them seen throughout the art in the bar.

Came here for a drink with friends and this place is a great vibe! We got a nice booth for 5 of us and played some card games while enjoying our cocktails. There was no wait and the service was quick and kind. What is so unique is the special drinks are all made by the staff! Each staff member gets to come up with a seasonal drink and it’s on the menu! One of our friends ordered the one our waitress had made and it was good! I really loved both of my drinks I got, You up? And left on read. They were both sweet but not too sweet and they were STRONG! Highly recommend this place and we will be back!

Absolutely incredible. Shame and Regret has the BEST vibes if you're looking for a Gothic speakeasy downtown. The food is divine and the drinks are the bomb. I cannot recommend this place enough especially if you're visiting and love a unique experience. It's a little busy so you will need to raise you voice to talk but the vibes are immaculate. Please come here!

EXCELLENT COCKTAILS RESERVED SERVICE My wife and I dropped by here for a pre-dinner cocktail. The first thing that meets us is a sign stating to wait to be seated. So we stop and wait. The female bartender is chatting away with a male customer not paying any attention to us. Suddenly somebody yells out that we can seat our selves …. So we do. Pretty strange way to treat customers. We got water and after checking the menu ordered our two cocktails. The bar is dark with a cool vibe - kind of made strange to be strange in a good way. We really loved the setting. Fits well with the almost hidden entrance. The cocktails were awesome. So, go here for cocktails but bear with the service staff - I believe it all comes back to the owner and/or managers - they set the tone. So not really the service staff’s fault. Could have been 5 stars.

Stopped here for drinks after dinner. Very cool vibe in this place. Located down an alley... a tad confusing for first timers. Drinks were good... the names were outstanding. Service by Emma was great. Parked on the street before dinner, pay via Park Mobile app.

It’s the end of the evening for my 50th birthday,, but of course our server doesn’t know this. She simply greets four drunken old men with the same positivity and engagement she greets everyone else with. I will say that Emma was the best part of my 8 hours of birthday- and we met her at hour 7. What a great night, and though she had no idea it as my 50th she treated me like a king- as I’m sure she does everyone else. What’s a gift of a person to be so awesome after dealing with drunk a-holes all night. Thank you Shame and Regret, and more importantly thank you Emma for giving me such a great night. 4/10 be damned- you rock and we all know it. You were a gift I will not soon forget!
