Gaswerks

We had a work function at Gaswerks in Columbus and the experience was fantastic. Our group had rented out the whole place and the staff were friendly, organized, and easy to work with. They kept the event running smoothly and made sure everyone was taken care of. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was perfect for a social gathering. It felt like a fun and unique spot that worked really well for a private event. Since we were there for a full buyout, I am not sure what it would be like on a regular night, but based on our experience, GasWorks is a great venue with solid service and a cool vibe.

Went into Gaswerks with some friends and had the best time! Great deals and had such a fun time. I was served by the sweetest girl named Claire. She helped my whole group and spent time talking about her college time. Wonderful food as well from the bus. Will visit again to play some more games!

It’s my go to bar when I go out with friends the bartender Claire is attentive to all the people there and super friendly. The place is nice and clean and super fun. Has great music and great staff. The food and drinks are pretty top tier as well.

After a long day of pounding pavement and crunching numbers, all I wanted was a run of the mill drink to take the edge off. What I did not expect, nor what I could have possibly dreamed for, was to be given a beverage that rocked me like there were tectonic plates shifting beneath my feet. I'm not sure who the gentleman behind the bar in the cowboy hat was that gave it to me, and honestly I don't even want to know his name, as the mystery adds to the allure and the experience. He made me feel at home, and at the same time, like I was about to embark on a long journey to somewhere magical. Needless to say, I am hooked like a deep-sea tuna, and I couldn't be happier about it or more excited to return!

Had a good couple of visits here when we came in for a weekend visit. Good music from the DJ, not too crowded, and good drink specials. Would come back, esp in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor seating.

Vibes? Immaculate. Drinks? Don't play around. Staff? Legendary. But in all seriousness me and my friends had a great time and they were even nice getting my friends phone back when he left it there. 10/10

We were in town recently visiting family and had some time one evening to explore. My husband and I were visiting from California, and we were joined by my dad from Minnesota as well as family from northern Ohio. On Friday, 02/06/26, the weather was extremely crumby and cold with heavy snowfall...definitely not ideal conditions to be out at a bar. However, we were looking for somewhere to pass the time before meeting up with the rest of our family when we drove past GasWerk. It looked like a good place to get out of the weather and catch up with each-other, so we parked and went inside to check it out. Space looked really fun and we were excited to check it out. When we entered, the bar was mostly empty (one table of four/five occupied), which was understandable given the weather. We noticed two employees on their phone sitting at the entry/ID area, and as we walked in, the bartender left the front area and went behind the bar. From the moment we entered, we felt like unexpected guests interrupting an event rather than welcomed customers. We travel often and make an effort to be friendly and outgoing wherever we go, but the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. There was only one table and two employees in the front of house, yet we felt as though we had walked into a private event we weren’t invited to. The staff’s demeanor came across as dismissive and annoyed that we had come in. There were comments made near my husband that felt slick and disrespectful, which only reinforced the sense that we were not welcome. We didn't even over anything, just regrouped and walked out. Overall, the experience left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.
