The Cave Bar and Lounge

Damn, it feels so long ago, but this night, in the month of February 2023, should have been posted then! It is what it is and for what it is worth, The Cave Bar & Lounge is an EASY 5 out of 5. The environment was clean, the staff polite, the drinks fair and the whole experience phenomenal! I will be coming back, The Cave is one of the best low-key nightclubs in #columbusohio !!!

I want to love this place, but I've had one too many bad experiences and can't continue to return. Bartenders seem irritated by patrons (especially when asking for water, full priced and tipped). I also had one night that they ran my card 3 times without me knowing. I reached out several times (including calling & messaging) to resolve this issue and no one responded or reached out. The ceilings are very low, which might be appealing to some, but it truly feels like a small cave, so at least they got the name right. I'm not claustrophobic, but I did not enjoy the space. Bathrooms are nearly impossible as there's just a small bathroom for the space and I've never seen the line shorter than about 15-25 minutes. They do have a few nice lights to utilize for events, but it's nothing to write home about. Overall it's unlikely I'll be back or recommend to friends for upcoming events.

Great Vibes at The Cave Bar and Lounge! Had such a blast at The Cave Bar and Lounge! The vibe was super chill but still full of energy. The music was on fire—lots of fun Latino beats that kept everyone dancing and in a great mood all night. We got 2 bottle of champagne and some Red Bulls to keep the party going—everything was served quick and ice cold. The staff were really friendly and made sure we had a great time. If you’re looking for a fun night out with good drinks and great music, this is definitely the spot.

I’ve been following Dj Cale since I came to Columbus 2011. & When The Cave opened underneath Sidebar, it became the best spot of both my loves: Food and Latino music. What I love about the uniqueness that The Cave offers that is unmatched and consistent is how much they connect with their new patrons and regulars and make you feel more like a friend than a client because for them it’s about quality. They have a sophisticated yet casual like vibe that makes it ideal for anyone who wants to go to drink, dance, or just hang out. & their drinks are AMAZING! Shout out to their amazing service and bartenders. -Martha D

We had so much fun at The Cave! We went on a Friday and it was pretty busy and lively for such a cold night. They had a great mix of salsa, bachata, and old school reggaeton!! The staff and servers were so fun and attentive which really made the entire experience so much better. I also left my bag there that night and the owners, especially Ruby, went the extra mile to locate me and let me come outside business hours to grab it. So thankful! Cannot wait to come back!

I used to really enjoy The Cave and even recommended it to friends, but after my last visit, I won’t be coming back. My wife and I were having a great time after the Wither Balloon, dancing and enjoying the night. But when my wife went to use the bathroom, we had an unpleasant experience. She was clearly waiting in line, but the guy working the door let his friend cut ahead of her. He claimed the guy was a worker, but it was obvious he wasn’t. It felt disrespectful and unfair — and honestly ruined the whole vibe for us. It’s disappointing to see favoritism and unprofessional behavior at a place that’s supposed to be about good energy and fun. I hope management takes this seriously, but as of now, I can’t recommend this place anymore.

Very nice club, you could either go Friday or Saturdays. Saturdays are definitely busier and the place gets full in a matter of minutes, good beer and good drinks as well. Saturdays ladies free, men cover is $20
