The Torpedo Room

Such an interesting concept and even more thoughtfully executed. It really is a unique little bar that is built around a fun atmosphere for guests. The staff is also extremely nice and knowledgeable. I got an alcoholic slushies and got to sit next to a porthole I'm not sure many people get to say that's something they've experienced in their life so on experience alone 5/5 and once you add in that the drink I had was also immaculate I wish I could rate them higher ☺️

A very unique bar with quality cocktails and a decent beer selection. The interior design stands out above any other bar I've been to in the Columbus area. It being attached to the Gateway Film Center is an additional bonus to the place. The bar staff was really conversational and knowledgeable about their menu. Highly recommend it!

Submarine-themed bar located in Gateway Film Center, to the left of the popcorn and snack counter. Cozy area, perfect for grabbing a pre or post-movie beer. Happy hour means half-priced apps, too!

The Torpedo Room serves as a sit down restaurant area of the concessions from the Gate Film Center. It's menu isn't really much broader than outside, but the seating and atmosphere are a great way to pass time before or after a show. Good beer selection and the veggie sandwich is quite good.

Really enjoy the Torpedo Room: the outdoor fire pits, the TVs, the creative beer selection, and the occasional live music. The energy is also very positive on game day. I would give the food only 3 stars however. It's fair at best. The flat breads aren't bad, and it seemed like a lot of people were ordering the pretzels. So they must be good. Overall, definitely prefer this bar to many other game day bars.

Something off a hidden gem in town. They stock some really quality spirits and are fairly rum forward, oddly enough, but the cocktail menu leaves a lot to be desired. It's like they couldn't decided to cater quality spirits or silly drinks for the local college crowd. Beer options are pretty decent though and you can carry stuff into your theater. The ambiance is really something else though, lovely place. Almost feels like something out of Bio Shock. Usually some classic black and white film plays over some 40s big band or jazz music.
